iPhone cannot find my Fitbit Versa

My Fitbit has been working brilliantly for the two years I’ve owned it. But as of last night there has been no sync with my iPhone. The watch has also lost time - it’s now over one hour slow.

I’ve followed all suggestions in troubleshooting items, many times over, for around 3 hours.

When attempting to set up device (around 20 Tim’s), I cannot get past the step where the phone is searching for the Fitbit.

Any suggestions???? I’ve pretty much given up, with intentions of buying an Apple Watch!

When having a sync issue. The worst thing a user can do is remove the the tracker from their Fitbit account. Now they have to try and setup a tracker that they know is not talking with the Fitbit app. As expected removing the tracker has added more problems.

We need to fix the cause of the sync issue.

Step one is to remove the Versa from the Bluetooth trusted devices.

Check that the Fitbit app is updated.

Restart phone

Restart Versa

Actually it might be better to shut each down. This way we get a hardware reset not just a software reset.

I would check the help docs
