"Walk" missing from exercise list

I have had my versa for a few days now and when I first got it I'm sure walk was in the exercise list (on the watch itself) along with run, cycle & swim etc. Today when I went to go for a walk it wasn't listed any more.

Has anyone else noticed this?

First try restarting the Ionic and see if it comes back. If it doesnt reappear, go to you app and to the Versa and scroll down to the General heading abd to Exercise Shortcuts. There you can select the ones you want to see on your watch. Let us know how you go

Go to the Fitbit app on your phone - click on the square in the top right corner and then click on Versa.  Scroll down to click on Exercise Shortcuts.  If 7 are listed, you need to delete one before you can add one.  Click on Edit and remove one.  Then click on +Exercise Shortcut to see the list of all the possible ones you can add - Walk should be in that list.  If 7 aren’t listed, you can just click on +Exercise Shortcut.

Thank you! That was not obvious at all. They should still display the add button but just pop up a warning you need to remove something first. Not having it at all made me think that no more were available

There is a message that says that. If your list is full, the message is underneath the exercises where the add button would be.

You’re right!  On my iPhone, it is under +Exercise Shortcut - had to scroll a tad more to see it.

Hi! I have added walk to the list on my phone and synced my watch but it still isn't showing on my versa? Any ideas welcome!

Try re-starting your Versa.  Hold the left button and the right bottom button until the screen goes black and the Fitbit logo appears.  Then when your Versa is restarted, click on the Exercise app and scroll through the 7 exercises - you should have the same 7 you have on your phone.

I went to the shortcuts and took off one activity. Then I was able to add Walk. I synced the Versa and it now shows up on the unit! Thanks for the help.

I restarted my versa and it still isn't showing walk on the exercise app. I don't run I walk. This is rediculas.

Have tried all suggestions for adding walk to my activity on my Versa and still cannot get it. Any more suggestions?

The previous reply perhaps works on an older version of the app. On my updated version.,July 2019, the button for the edit function is not accessible from the Exercise Shortcut page. In order to remove a listed shortcut, you must swipe the. shortcut to the left and then it is deleted. Then I was able to click the "plus" sign on the top left and add another exercise as a shortcut
