"period" tracking??

I was slightly horrified in the intro video to Versa it showed a woman getting a notice of "4 days to period". I will NOT buy this watch if that is something that cannot be turned off, not only from the app but also on the watch display.  I also wanted to know if it only "activates" for Fitbit profiles that are marked as female.  I am just bothered by that, it in no way applies to me, so that is pretty much my deciding factor if I upgrade or not.

@N3vermore Female Health Tracking will be available for anyone who would like to opt-in and use the feature. It is a voluntary feature and if you choose not to opt-in, then you shouldn't see it in the app or on the watch.

I'd be willing to bet that's an app that can be added by the user, not a built in feature 🙂 Even a lot of us it DOES apply to don't really care to track it 😛 That said I appreciate that it's a feature, and I hope that the apps also include things like medicine reminders. I'm not really sure what the app offerings are since I don't have an Ionic.

lol, if it has the same "margin of error" as in counting pool laps or steps, imagine the reactions when it says "period in 2 days"...but doesn't come for another week 🙂

I read something somewhere that states in the next month or so. Also, regarding the app notifying you, I assume it'll be like any other app notification that you can turn it off. I use another period tracker app that I love and I've used it for years. I am eager to see what FitBit will come out with.
