sensor no longer works

i just did a factory reset like two days ago to fix another problem with my versa 2. i run into a new issue every month. no one ever helped me fix the music feature which has never worked, even though it was supposedly sent to higher ranking people.

now all of a sudden the sensor isn't working, so 90% of the reason i bought the stupid thing is no longer existing.

most features on this thing don't work. so i'm not sure what i paid for. at this point i probably can't get it replaced, and i'm poor. so i guess i'm just stuck with a broken fitbit.

anyone have any idea how to at LEAST fix the sensor? i've already reset, shutdown, turned the HR on and off, so i don't need to be told to try those basic steps again. thanks.

lol i did another factory reset just to see what would happen and now it won't connect to my phone 🙂 bluetooth is on, i've switched it on and off, it's showing up in bluetooth settings on my iphone, and i've added it, and it won't connect to the fitbit app because it keeps saying there's no bluetooth on. yes, i've tried turning my phone on and off.

Yeah I made the mistake of buying a new one after my old one crapped out on me, and now I’m not getting sleep data. The only help I’ve read here is “make sure your firmware is up to date, restart, uninstall”

Hi @SunsetRunner which of the many sensors on your Versa 2 is not working? XYZ motion sensor, barometer, Temp, Etc...

Or what is it that is not being recorded.

Is this your heart rate sensor or the SpO2 sensor?

While on the arm, are the lights flashing?

Have you checked that the heart rate is turned on?

IE no Heart rate showing?

Are steps being recorded?

I have one flashing light when it’s on, it only fails to record sleep, and
of occasionally it won’t show my heart rate

One flashing light is correct.

For sleep to be detected heart rate is not needed, but is needed for the advanced heart rate.

Are you saying you have no sleep at all recorded.
