setting date after long non use

Due to a rash, did not wear fitbit for several months. Going to try over a surgical glove but need to set the correct date. How?

It takes date and time from sync device at each sync.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
