stale data

I am furious! I own a versa 3 that after the update my glance watch face gives me a message Stale Data.  The last solution now gives me a message every 20 to 30 minutes.  The message will vibrate until I accept the info. I have tried everything in my power and calling support to NO avail. And the solution from Google is to buy a new watch!  I got an email offering 35 percent off really. As a Very loyal customer to Google and previous fitbit this is crazy. I have the pixel 7 pro as well. Any suggestions? Short of a new watch.......

Hi @coachwiseman - this may be simply a (not) syncing issue with the new app. Probably best to check in "The redesigned Fitbit app is rolling out!" topic in the Android app forum where you will see more fully the issues.

If you can ensure your watch is syncing properly it may resolve the issue or change to another clock face on the watch.

I use glance watchface for my type 1 diabetes. The dexcom g7 syncs with my phone. Which the phone syncs to my watch. The watchface eliminates the effort of opening up the app on the phone. I have had absolutely no trouble with the syncing until the fitbit update. It hasn't worked since.

@coachwiseman - thanks, in this case it would seem to be what others have mentioned as an issue connecting to external sources with the new app, in the locations indicated.

@coachwiseman   I think you should contact Ryan Mason, the Glance clock face developer, directly.  There should be a Contact Developer link in the clock face details.  The Glance page on the Gallery has some update and support links, specifically the Facebook support group.

@coachwiseman  I merged your post with your other thread for organizational purposes.  Glance is more than a third party clock face, as it involves a specific set up with your CGM.  This is a troubleshooting guess, but did you try removing your CGM and setting it up as if its new?  This is a third party clock face/app.  Please continue to contact the developer.  There's nothing wrong with your watch.

@coachwiseman - as mentioned, this seems to be a problem with the new Fitbit App look in  posts in "The redesigned Fitbit app is rolling out!" topic in the both iOS or Android app forums where you will see more fully the issues.

Unfortunately it would seem likely you are stuck with this version officially. Though there may be some tweaks over time already mentioned there.

@coachwiseman - it's not a problem with the watch, unless you have other problems with it.

If it is not syncing properly (you can check this using the free SimpleCheckUp app, second test) it can be related to the new app. Resolving syncing issues may help.

@coachwiseman - it helps you check if the watch can find the Fitbit App and when last synced useful for finding out better what is going on.
