Hi @SunsetRunner , I can indeed only speek for myself and yes, the Versa 2 is IMO very accurate and has an amazing battery life - 7 days on one charge. Steps, sleep, calories, etc are in accordance with the Versa 1 which I've had for one year. Hope this helps, regards kuzibri
@SunsetRunner I have been a Fitbit user for many years, going back to only torso worn trackers and before the phone app existed. I think I speak from experience. I will share my thoughts from personal experience and by helping others.
A little wordy, but honest.

Your answer gives me the impression that you are you inclining that my post is not honest.
Best Answer@SunsetRunner Not in the least. Users who see the Community Council logo might think that we are paid by Fitbit (we are not) or that we are expected to toe a line laid down by Fitbit. All trackers, including Fitbits, have limitations. I have no problem describing honest limitations of this technology.

hi @LZeeW , I also do not have limitations regarding this issue. Maybe the difference in our experiences are caused by that fact that you use iOS and I use Android. The findings that I posted are IMO clear/honest and I'm also a long time user of Fitbit devices. I compared the accuracy of my Fitbit Versa 2 with it's predecessor and they match totally. Of course all of these devices have their limitations, but being a heavy user, I did not find any inaccuracies untill now. Regards kuzibri
Best AnswerNone of us can say for certain how accurate the Versa is. Most smartwatches are within a ballpark range of accuracy but as far as true accuracy, probably not as accurate as we might think. When I measure my versa against my Samsung S2, they are similar at times and other times way far apart. I have also measured it against my GF's Apple watch. Again similar at times, far apart other times.
I have also measured the Versa heart sensor against a medical grade heart sensor and though it is close much of the time, there can be times when it is far off.
The overall fitness readings are meant to give you a good estimate and ballpark of where you are at and generally the Versa does a good job but as far as true accuracy, probably not as much as most people think.
My dear wife bought me a Versa 2 for my birthday. It is EXCEPTIONALLY inaccurate (heartbeat and step count). EX: #1) I took a nap yesterday afternoon. I feel asleep for about two hours. When I woke up, my step count had gone up 943 steps. (THAT'S sleep walking!) #2) I went to sleep around 8:30 last night. My step count was around 8500. I woke up around 11, and the watch gave me a notice that I'd reached my goal of 10,000 steps for the day! (I guess I was tossing and turning a lot while I slept?) #3) I went to wash my car this AM. I put the Versa on the charger while I was gone. I came back two hours later, removed the device from the charger, and saw that my pulse was at 103: I hadn't even put the device on yet!
Too bad: I really like some of the features. Now I gotta figure out how I'm gonna explain to my wife why I'm no longer wearing the device!
Best AnswerI have my fitbit Versa 2 on one arm it says20220 steps 14.1 km, my Amazfit bip on my other arm says 17095 steps distance and Bluetooth not happy , my Google Fit app says14345 steps 10.1 km.. How in the heck can they all be right?
Best AnswerI just got Versa 2 and gave my Charge 3 to my boyfriend. I'm noticing the inaccuracy in Versa 2 as well compared to Charge 3. I just went up and down the stairs in my house and Versa 2 still says 0 stairs. I know I had to come down stairs this morning after waking up for me to be downstairs and that didn't get recorded either. At the end of the day, the number of steps I've taken seems to be a lot less using Versa 2 especially after an hour on the treadmill. Oh and my 1 hour on the treadmill where heart beat was registered at 140 at some point, didn't show up as me having exercised for the day.
Best AnswerImpossible! I have a Versa 2 ans have NEVER got more than 4 days on a charge. I have the light brightness set at normal. I also have a Garmin Instinct and it gets 14 days on a charge.
