the desktop app will not allow me to add my wife to a family. So we cannot add music to her versa as well as mine. She went public with age and was added as a friend but the app will not add her as a guardian or member. Her name is checked but will not add. So we cannot use the desktop app for 2 people with two versa 2s. Why?

Hi @krollins the family account is for the Ace series where there is a child who requires an adult's supervision. click to learn more. Each of you using a Versa 2 will need your own account and email address.

We both have our own account and email addresses. The family account is supposed to add a second guardian with or without kids. Otherwise it appears impossible to add music to two different versa 2s since that requires the desktop fitbit app - unless I had two desktops/laptops both with windows media player or itunes loaded with music and both connected to wifi - which I do not. We can get around the dashboard issue by using ipads but music downloads requires a desktop/laptop app. It seems that anyone that has an account is the main guardian of a family and so cannot be added to a spouses family account. You get a message -" she is already in a family and cannot be added to another."
What I want to do is add music I own from windows media player to two different fitbit versa 2s. Does anyone know how to do that from a single desktop?
