I am noticing that my screen is staying on when in the timer mode. I have it set to shut off after ten seconds. I haven't performed any updates, that I know of, so not sure why this is happening now. I called fitbit and they explained that this is normal in their newest update and if you hold your hand over the screen it will go dark. In order to save my battery life when using a timer(and I use it a lot) I will have to continuously check my fitbit to see if I have rolled my wrist and turned the screen on. If I have I can hold my hand over the screen to shut it off until the next time it automatically comes back on. If this is their idea of an improvement, I wish they had done what they do with the exercise mode and allowed the user to access a screen to leave the face lit with no time limit.

Hi, this is normal behaviour of the Versa. Whenever you activate the timer, it will stay on untill to stop the timer. In this way the Versa can tell you the exact time using your timer mode.

I just tried my timer and it went black after 10 seconds (my Display Awake time in Settings), then would come back on with wrist turn, as with any screen. I haven't received an update recently so can't be sure it's not in an update on its way.
