versa sleep detection

I took my versa off my wrist today and put it on a desk top.  I put it back on at 11:02pm.

I was surprised to see that the fitbit recorded all 10 hours as sleep time, it even recorded 7 times restless and 3 times awake.

This doesn't sound right to me.

@pmckay make sure sensor lights are not blinking when the watch is off your wrist. Sometimes it the surface it lies on is very reflective or colorful it thinks it's body and tries to measure heartrate. Of course it would be a very constant HR hence it thinks you're asleep. You can go into Fitbit mobile app and see if the heartrate was recorded. Just delete the sleep recording and next time put your Versa sensor up. You can also reboot it just in case by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo flashes.
