I'm finding my regular 'conversations' with Bod (my coach has a name!) very helpful, especially when Bod refers back to something from the previous week. I've recently been unwell and Bod picked up on this and suggested extremely helpful activities to ensure that I moved but didn't exert myself. It was strange to have Bod tell me off for spending too much time in the garden; something I knew but Bod detected that my heart rate had remained too high for too long!
The original app allows for hydration to be logged and Bod asks and reminds me to drink water throughout the day but I have to manually tell Bod that I have done so. I feel that being able to input the information at the time, or near enough, would improve the dialogue with Bod.
Whilst Bod isn't medically qualified, I am impressed that the algorithm enables Bod to be better informed about activities and detailed medical conditions. Yesterday Bod advised that I discontinue a gym action until I have had a medical procedure and mentioned what I could do immediately afterwards. This information I know to be factually correct but not understood by people who haven't got the condition or receive the treatment.

@ExDaytimeSlob The best way to give this type of feedback is in the Fitbit app. Tap on your profile picture, then Send feedback. Feedback there goes directly to Google.

@ExDaytimeSlob The Public Preview is a work in progress, not the final version. Neither food nor hydration logging is available at this time. You can switch between the two versions with a few taps on your phone screen. The coach will still remind you even when you log on the regular version. It doesn't have access to that data.
There is no published timeline for hydration logging or any other feature not available.

I am aware that it is a development option and how to switch between both versions, hence the word, "plea" in the title. A friend (who is involved with the project) advised that I put my plea in writing as feedback is being read and noted.

It looks like hydration logging is in the latest update App version 4.68 (I have iOS). It can be found in the Health tab (Health>Nutrition>Hydration: scroll down to bottom of list) Unfortunately, it is only picking one random water log from the history entered in the old app and is mixing units from screen to screen. Maybe it won't take 6 months to fix it this time.

Thanks for your helpful response.
I've just checked and the feature is there. It's acknowledged Monday but not yesterday, though different time zones etc!
