Health Connect: "Review your permissions" problem

Hello there, I am facing a problem where the new Fitbit app preview thinks I am missing the health connect permissions although I have granted it full permissions: I get the following notification:

In the device overview Health Connect says "Review your permissions" and when I click on that I get the foll"Go to Health Connect settings and allow Fitbit access. Seems like you rejected Health Connect permissions before. To turn them back on go to App permissions and allow Fitbit access." I gave all permissions but this error still appears. When I revoke the permissions and add them again, I can also tap on this toaster message that appears to "browse" the data, which opens the health connect data overview that was part of the old app as well, and there all data appears. Sometimes Fitbit is trying really long to sync health connect but it ends up with the same error.

In addition, it would be great if Fitbit would support the option of Health Connect to allow data older than 30 days to be imported.

It would be great if these two things could be addressed! Thank you very much!

The issues have now been fully resolved, not sure if it was an update or me reinstalling the app a few days ago or both, but I can now see the historic data.

Thanks a lot to the team!

Hi @Ray383422, welcome to  the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

I'm glad to help you with the issue you are experiencing with the permissions of your Fitbit app to access health connect in the Personal health coach public preview. I appreciate the troubleshooting you have already performed.

As in the standard Fitbit app, similar issues are usually resolved by force quitting the app and clearing the app's cache. Force quitting the app and clearing app's cache steps change depending on the operating system your mobile device is running.

If the issue persists, please share a screenshot of the message in question and another screenshot of the app permissions in the phone settings. I appreciate your time in this process.

In addition, i understand you would like to integrate ancient data on these new layouts. This is an app in development and i appreciate your feedback about your potential needs.

App Version 4.56 actually solved the issue already and added support for the historical data permissions, thanks a lot!

While I can give Fitbit permission to data older than 30 days now, I can't actually see any older data, i.e. for the weight stat I only see weights from Health Connect that were added after I set up the app/my account, is that intended?
