3-day, 5-day, 10-day weight averages

Being able to track your weight each day is nice. However, there can be huge (3-7lbs) fluctuations based on water weight, diet, and other changes that don't give an accurate picture of where your body is.

It would be really useful to have the option of a "weighted" average of your weight factoring in 3-, 5-, or 10-days into the calculation. A 10-day average weight gives you a much better picture of whether you're trending up or down in terms of weight gain/loss than just seeing how much you weight at the time you weigh-in, over 10 days your water weight fluctuations will be smoothed out. This would also look really smooth as a trend-line graph (more useful than the one currently incorporated into the dashboard).

I use the TrendWeight site for this.  It syncs well with fitbit and I just click to that screen to see my weighted average weight graph.. It would be nice if it was integrated into the FitBit app though.

This is a great idea.  I think there should be a 30 day average too.  A lot of women's weight measurements will vary through the month, sometimes varying up to 5 pounds in one month making it hard to see if your weight is improving overall.

What a shame a few people suggest a weight trend line so you implement it immediately, not considering thousands of others who would prefer to see accurate data!

I HATE the awful thick blue weight trend line. I want to see the peaks and troughs of my journey and it just ruins it! At least give us the choice. I've asked others and no-one sees any point in it.

Please refer to the post about restoring the weight tile complete with accurate data and all the comments in support.

When viewing your weight in the iOS app, it’s nonsensical that you’re stuck with statically-defined weeks/months/years. I wish the display was relative to today. For example, looking at my weight for the last 1M, there’s only 2 days and the rest of the month is projected. What I really want is for it to show me my weight trend over the last 30 days
