Able to return to previous Fitbit app version

Woke up this morning to your new app. To say the least I am not impressed. It lacks color and is boring and adds nothing new to what was there before. I absolutely hate it. I am a longtime Fitbit user but this might actually change that on next purchase.

Nymdock is spot on. The new app is horrible. Bring back the old version. I have been considering getting a different tracker (not from Fitbit). This is making the case for another tracking watch so much easier to consider. Hate this new app.

New Color scheme on the heart rates graphs with September update are very hard to read as the color are to dull and don't have enough contrast between each out to clearly see. Have option to use old yellow, red ECT or allow custome RGB values

Yes!!! And leave reviews on the App too. I saw also a suggestion to hit them up on LinkedIn as well!

Hey Guys!

You really need to take a step back, a deep breath - and calm down. Every time Fitbit launch a change - people complain. Fitbit has tens of millions of users worldwide. Do you really think a few hundreds complaining will make a difference?  Some of you want to call customer service and complain, complain via chat service, Twitter and other channels. That is selfish. Attacking those who tries to help customers with real problems - like a malfunctioning device - is mean. And again, it will not help.

Why don't you take a in depth look at the new app instead? I think it is brilliant. It has a tile you can put four metrics of your own choice! When you tap on a choice you get more details and/or stats. That is great - right? Who has not gone away for the weekend and forget your charger at home? Now - it doesn't matter, because you can use your phone as a tracker. WOW! Great right?

Try to see the new advantages and possibilities instead of being all grumpy and **ahem**y is my advice.

Well. Diabolical upgrade!!!

looks cheap!!!

miss the estimated total daily calorie count … now I don’t know how many calories I am expected to burn in a day!!! Highly disappointed Fitbit!!! What on earth made you want to change an app that worked well and was more pleasing to the eye!?!?!?

Yes I do think calling them is going to do some good- I talked to a supervisor ( very nicely) and he said they know there is a problem because a lot of people have been posting and calling.

they know it's not as user friendly as the last application! 🙄

Don't agree - the upgrade does not even do the basics.  Fitbit stand to lose many customers.

I HATE the new display! Change it back! It's dull, boring, and plain! I was already on the fence about switching to another device, and this just about clinches it! Combined with the fact that Google keeps taking away features, and charges yearly for a subcription! I will probably go to your competitors product! Thanks, Google, for ruining a product I used to love!

Very unhappy with the new update!  Looks like a child created it--very primitive.  Lost my step streak and cannot see my battery percentage.  Please restore these features as they are important.

Good to know.

It’s the ugliest UI that I’ve ever seen, and I’m UX/UI designer. It looks like in on my electricity app. It’ll probably make me think to get an Apple Watch now

The new updated app is awful looking. Looks like something from technology decades ago rather than neat. I'm also annoyed there is no longer an option to change the clock face on my Inspire 2. Please go back to the other app design.

I just canceled my premium subscription, and will be stopping by the Apple Store tomorrow to research Apple watches. It's bad enough that Fitbit rolled out this horrible "update," but to double down, dig their heels in, and say they don't care about what end users think is inexcusable.

I do not like the new format... I like to see my weeks activity easier than what it is now.  The steps, distance and calories burned are repeated on the home screen... which is unnecessary .  I don't like how the number of steps jump up and down when you switch from today to yesterday. That is annoying. This is not an improved app IMO.

I do not like the change of format to my Fitbit.

How can it be restored to what is was?

I don’t care for the fact that I can no longer see everything in one screenshot and can’t tell where my battery is.

I agree with so many of the comments made about the update. It looks like technology from 10 years ago? Additionally, I cannot seem to move the tiles around on the dashboard to duplicate the stats that I've been keeping track of for all these years. I have been a staunch supporter of Fitbit for years now because I have found my Sense more reasonably priced than an Apple watch. I will have to reconsider now! Fitbit should allow customers the option of keeping the old format or updating vs making it an update for all. I implore Fitbit to go back to the old format! Ellen D

The new ‘update’is a major step backwards, please reset to original format which was far superior.
I will be looking for a non-Fitbit alternative device

Instead of being more eye-pleasing and sophisticated,  it offers less. I am stunned by this change. I'm not sure what to do next.  What other apps are available?Sent from my Galaxy

I agree! I really need to see the battery percentage. And any customization is very limited. Not happy.

Carolm12 I am going to look into purchasing a Garmin fitness watch. This latest fiasco with the Fitbit app was the final straw for me after a year of glitches.
