Able to return to previous Fitbit app version

Woke up this morning to your new app. To say the least I am not impressed. It lacks color and is boring and adds nothing new to what was there before. I absolutely hate it. I am a longtime Fitbit user but this might actually change that on next purchase.

Well said. The changes are just awful! I'm looking at buying a Polar. Today
I did a 20km bike ride. The tracking showed a straight line and said I had
done 0.18 kilometres in 59 minutes!! Pathetic!

Yes,  agreed.  I just got a new fitbit sense 2 and am super disjointed to be stuck with this terrible app. uninspiring and cluttered. My new sense is literally 4 weeks old,  but I am thinking of changing

It is truly awful!

Yes this is dreadful.  I can't believe there was no warning on the update. Why did they take away the step streak Banner?  I was at a 367 day streak on my goal and now it's gone.  I want the banner back !!!! It helps to encourage you to complete your goal daily.  This is really messed up.  So glad I don't have the premium. Fitbit usually has great features for everyone.  I think I'll look into something else, maybe  Apple Watch would be better.  I want the old program back.

This is the worst Fitbit upgrade. The UI looks like it was designed by a 5th grader. It's outdated, primitive and very poorly designed. It's not exciting, it's boring, not eye-catching, and absolutely not inviting. Fitbit, why did you go from a sophisticated look and intuitive version to this awful user interface? With thousands and thousands of very unhappy Fitbit users and 100s of pages with negative comments, Fitbit should offer people that despise this new version to revert back.

Absolutely cannot stand the redesign of the app. It’s confusing, unclear, has too much movement and makes me utterly no longer interested in using your product or this app. If I can’t get the information I need from it then I will go to another product. Allow your users to decide for themselves. This just makes me sad… what a waste!

Hello! I am not happy with fitbit software 4. It is not possible to scroll past steps - there are available numbers only about past week. Graphical presentation - as it is available, is not good for that. Is it possible still see just past step numbers and no graphics? May be some menu or choice or just additional steps to do that?

I have just logged in for the first time in a while to comment as others have done about the new app … wow! Fitbit, what have you done!

i simply cannot get the functions I want to see in one place… as I could before, and it is nigh impossible to tailor or change it.

I have had issues with my Versa 3 since I’ve had it, it has never been right, but coped. This I’m afraid is tbe strae tbe brike the camels back. Much more expensive I realise, but I think it’s time scope other trackers.

sorry Fitbit, you have this wrong!

I can overlook the minimalist display that looks like a 5 year old designed it once it works the way I want, but why hide the battery %, and why do I appear unable to highlight the location of particular widgets I wish to prioritise?

My Charge 3 screen went blank a year ago and I have tried a variety of suggestions to have it display, but to no avail. Therefore I use my phone to see my stats at a glance.

This upgrade has reduced the usefulness of my purchase. Surely upgrades are meant to improve user experience? The old adage is "IF IT IS NOT BROKEN, DON'T FIX IT".

I'm upset by this dashboard update, which sounds pathetic, but in reality this is an app I have used every day for 2 years. I have never worn a watch every day except for my Fitbit. And now it feels different and difficult to use.

- The icons are huge and take up too much real estate. I need to scroll more - why? It was better when the data was compact.

- Where are the congratulatory fireworks? The whole design feels flat and empty.

- Where has the colour gone? It felt inviting and familiar, now it's bland and soulless.

I think Fitbit software design team was trying to come up with a platform that looked more like Apple or Garmin.

Totally agree, this new app is so bad I've written a review on Play Store. Functionality, resolution, information all lost in favour of larger fonts and more blank space?! Utterly useless. Have been a loyal Fitbit user for years, but I won't buy another device if this app stays.

I've been trying to find the stopwatch and the tracks for exercise and
guess that's gone now too. I guess that's a "get premium " option?

The new IOS app is really hard to see. The lack of contrast… just white and a green… is not only boring and uninspiring but my eyes are literally having a hard time seeing it because it lacks any contrast. Please please give a more contrasted option

It’s incredible how Fitbit is just ignoring all this product feedback

I anbeolutely abhor the new app. It provides much less information. For instance, I have given up trying to remember how to find the Fitbit battery level on the app. Thankfully, I found it in the Fitbit. If there’s a way to get the old app back, I’d love to know it

I agree completely.  I opened my app yesterday morning to be greeted by the new app.  At first, I thought there was some glitch and a reboot of my phone would correct it.  Obviously, I was deluded and had to face the reality that once again, some technology that had worked just fine for me for years had been changed for the sake of change, not improvement.

I hate the new appearance.  It look like it was designed by a preschooler.  The graphics of old app were crisp and clean.  The functions I use daily are all jumbled up and can’t be put back in the order I want them. And this morning, I discovered the battery charger icon had been removed.  That’s completely **ahem**ic.

Overall, I hate the new app.  This could be the final straw that leads to an Apple Watch to replace my aging FitBit Flex2.

It must surely be a breach of contract, and probably also breach of UK Trading Standards, to give customers a free trial of an excellent product, sign them up to a $80 a year Premium subscription on the back of that, and then switch out that product for a completely worthless one that isn't worth paying for at all. Thinking of contacting Trading Standards about this. There would be hefty fines for Fitbit/Google if I'm right

Totally agree. The new App is absolutely terrible. Makes me reconsider my next next smart watch purchase

I think the new update in Fall of 23 looks CHEAP , battery Life was removed - how is that helpful to the consumer ???  You CAN change watch faces to put basic info in a solid choice for all the seniors who need to see bold numbers while exercising -   If you want to target a certain group and get rid of many who NEED this product -  you just DID .  Bring back battery life to the phone app. And put the battery life on the watch face in bigger print when you tap down on the screen
