Able to return to previous Fitbit app version

Woke up this morning to your new app. To say the least I am not impressed. It lacks color and is boring and adds nothing new to what was there before. I absolutely hate it. I am a longtime Fitbit user but this might actually change that on next purchase.

Funny you mention Step Streak. I have religiously worn my FitBit since my daughter gave it to me. I may not be “fit” but I am every “bit” committed to it until now. It’s funny that all this happened as I was on my from the US to Europe. I KNEW my step count would go through the roof as well as my heart rate and unfortunately, it is not recording properly. I was so looking forward to seeing my progress but now it’s like, “Wow I am worn out. How did I do to feel like this today? Wait, why bother. There’s nothing to look at to get excited about.” And since arriving in Berlin I AM worn out and I still have three weeks to go from other cities in Germany, Italy and France. This update us an abomination. I told my husband that my Christmas list has grown by one item.

Safe travels! I remember visiting Berlin when the Wall was still up back in
1983 or 1984.

The new app is terrible. It seems like a regression rather than an improvement. I actually find it very difficult to see my stats at a glance now with the lack of clear definition between the different sections. If it doesn't revert back to the old style I will most likely not re subscribe to premium.

Everything looks alike and unrecognizable in the new app.  I used to have 4 items listed that I often checked . . . Now I have a dozen that all look alike!  AWFUL!  JUST AWFUL!  Someone should be fired!  I don’t really want EVERYTHING listed in the dashboard that I have to scroll through.  I’m still trying to figure out if I can rearrange them and remove some, but can’t find a way to customize the look and put the info I want to see first.  My next Fitbit may be an Apple Watch after all.😡

I am sure you are not the only one that has canceled. When Google/FitBit
has lost enough on the bottom-line; hopefully, things will change, if not
it will probably go the way of “MySpace”, etc…

Really disappointed that weekly active minutes has disappeared into a tiny line on the screen instead of the display we had previously. It is the one thing I used to look at ALL THE TIME to keep me motivated. I don't even seem to have the ability to influence the progress bar total which only measures the percentage of the 150 minute arbitrary target number achieved. The Fitbit app is genuinely the only thing keeping me from migrating to another platform but it has lost so much functionality.

That might have been the plan all along.  Buy the base then change the app to the google platform.   I know they cannot use two desperate platforms but someone that uses the app should have been involved in the design.

The new interface and app is less visually appealing, and has the most random information and data all over the place. You have to scroll down so far to see the steps. Please for many reasons just switch back to the old UI.

How do we revert to previous version?

Why am I having to find a work around to this unmitigated disaster.

I will give Fitbit a week to put it right, but then I’m off to Garmin if they don’t!

fitbit, you have scored a massive own goal here.

Same! I can see my heart rate zones again under Exercise (and each exercise
in a day), along with history. Thank you!!

Is this possible for Mac as well? I am desperate to revert to the last iteration!

You took a perfectly fine app and made it darn near worthless. Change it back now.

Any reason why people are downgrading to 3.88 rather than 3.90?  Was 3.88 considered better than 3.90?

It is absolutely ridiculous that you cannot custom order activity data. I have a few things of interest but i have to scroll way down to the ones i want. This was not true on previous version. Much preferred old app to this one. Wish i could get that back

The new app interface in terrible. No actual real time heart rate, no battery charge info. Colors are all the same.

I just had TWO of my posts removed from this platform. Also, my Google Play review is still not "live."

I am not at all happy and will certainly not be purchasing a Fitbit when my current one dies.  The functionality of the interface with the app has been stripped away.  Too large text and pictures resulting in to much scrolling.  Lousy  summary information means I cant compare the way I like to, and on and on.  If you read the other people who are also not happy, you will find all the things I wanted to say.  I have been reading that this was done on purpose to render Fitbit useless so you can kill it and move everyone to Google devices.  NOT HAPPY.

The old interface was not only easier to read (each feature’s tile looked different, was more condensed, and was easier to recognize at a glance), but it also contained features that were my FAVS that have been removed! This includes the daily calorie budget estimate (NOT total burned today, but estimated daily burn), plus the step streak banner!
