Able to return to previous Fitbit app version

Woke up this morning to your new app. To say the least I am not impressed. It lacks color and is boring and adds nothing new to what was there before. I absolutely hate it. I am a longtime Fitbit user but this might actually change that on next purchase.

New app is terrible! The font is way too big, and the set up is ridiculous. I want the old app back. at least I can see on one screen all I needed to know

My intuition tells me that one of the main things they accomplished with the new app design is to reduce the amount of requests sent to their servers and thereby reduce the cost of operating the servers.  I do not have hard evidence, this is my intuition speaking to me.

How to I revert back to the old view, the new one is just awful. I can't see my stats at a glance especially when i'm on the move. Noone wants to have to scoll when they're in the middle of exercise! Is there an option to switch back?

Very helpful answer!  Thank you so much!  I HATE this new app!

I hate the new app! If not changed I will find an alternative !

I agree, the new interface on the app is terrible.  I phoned and was told there's no way to switch to the previous view, and that it does so much more.  When I inquired what more does it do, I was told to use it for a few days and get used to it!  Great customer service.

Yep. That's exactly how I feel.

100% agree!  Especially with the no privacy part!  I phoned and was told there's no way to switch to the previous view. Very disheartening.

The new app update is awful. Why change what works?
it was nice and colourful, to being bland and boring

it was more functional, now it’s just less interactive and not fun to use

if it doesn’t change back to the old version, I’m considering not buying a new Fitbit after my one stops working and moving to a different watch. It’s just not worth using the app anymore, which is the experience and what you mainly check for the stats you are looking for

The update to the App is terrible. Looks like it was designed by a child. No longer provides the same amount of privacy (weight is now display as opposed to pounds lost), no battery indicator, have to scroll forever to enter food, etc. Seriously?? Design team, are you reading the feedback? If so, please roll us back to what we had before!

If there is no option to revert back to the old app, I am done with Fitbit. Will be looking for a new device ASAP!

Yes I hate it!!! I hope they see how many unhappy customers they have and revert it back to the old way- whoever came up with this needs to be fired !

I agree , whoever came up with this new should be fired…why they would do this is unknown to me

was already moving Garmin or Apple w the subscription fee, and now this has pushed me over. Incredibly non-intuitive, inconvenient, and WTF is steps doing in my sleep data? even when data are turned off, they’re still showing up. I want to see overview and go deeper into each section. ui also way too much white space. Take me back or say bye

Very disappointed that I have no option to revert back to original format.  I feel this should change

I agree totally.  Why would anyone think this was a better look? I have used and loved Fitbit for years but they lost me with this change. There is less information and lower usability.

New Fitbit app is terrible. I had a 146 day step streak going and they removed the daily step streak banner. Now I have to go back and manually count my steps. It was my #1 daily motivator. I also do 100,000 steps every week. The old app was very easy to chart my weekly count, the new one makes it much more difficult. Whoever was in charge of design on this app must not be a Fitbit user themselves and failed in a gigantic way.

What?  You took a totally functional UI and made it look like a Dora the Explorer cartoon!  The heart rate is a range?  ya, that will work on my run.... NOT!

Pick what is important and the rest slides?   Bye.

New Ui is a huge srep bsckwards!  No battery percentage?...Required!

Bring back old interface!!

The design is absolutely horrific. Please pass along my disgust to the team for this and the loss of competitions and tell them the combination of these two changes means I will be switching to an Apple watch as soon as I'm able.

There is so much space I have to scroll forever to see things, and speaking as someone with a disability that limits my hands/wrists’ function, this is absolutely unacceptable.

Wow - what an absolutely awful update. Would make some suggestions but it looks like it's all been covered. Nothing good about this. Not enough Data, terrible layout. Someone better be listening to the comments.

Not only is the layout unappealing, the colors are disgusting early 1990s dusty rose and teal, very old-lady style. The font is girly too, not at all what I want to see. 🤢

At the very least you should be able to pinch the screen to make the font smaller so that you can see everything. And I agree that the battery information should be shown. This was one big mess.
