Yes - please add BMO. I just bought a Charge 3 special edition with the deciding factor being able to pay using the charge 3 and not have to pull out my BMO MasterCard credit card. The watch was just ordered 2 days ago and has not been received yet. If BMO does not work I will be returning the watch and purchasing a competing product that does. I have been a dedicated Fitbit user for over 10 years and this issue will decide if I stay with Fitbit or not.
Same here, bought the Charge 3 Soecial Edition only to find out they don't support BMO. Community have been asking for 1 year now but Fitbit isn't supporting BMO. What a disapointment!
You figure instead of making another fitbit versa they try and improve the first one. We need bank of Montreal to the fitbit pay!!!!! My friends had recently purchased the new versa and fortunately I made them aware of the fitbit pay so they made it clear they weren't paying the extra for that because they knew. Ridiculous in my opinion
It really is ridiculous. Why advertise Fitbit pay if it’s not universally available. And while they are at it.... make it so we can answer calls and texts with iOS. Get on Apple’s back!
Just bought Ionic model. Went for model with most features. Also bought three for other family members. I was excited about FITBit Pay function. Only learned today it’s so limited. I really hope BMO or CIBC picks it up soon. Any word yet?
I bought a Versa 2 so that I could use Fitbit Pay. Can't use Fitbit Pay because I bank with BMO and, even so, there are zero useful Canadian banks on Fitbit Pay. Definitely not worth spending the extra money for the Fitbit Pay application if you live in Canada. If Fitbit isn't going to give the proper attention to customers north of the 49th parallel, perhaps all us Canadians should return our Fitbits en masse.
As the title suggests, I was a little disappointed to find that Fitbit pay was not supported with the Bank of Montreal as (BMO) is heavily supportive of post secondary students, and as a post secondary student I have purchased the Versa 2 to support myself further.
Hi @JaxsonBouchie, thanks for explaining why you would like to have the option to see BMO (Bank of Montreal) on Fitbit Pay. Thanks for sharing your feedback. I've moved it into a similar request. A lot of users are asking for this option, I hope we receive updates soon.
Please add BMO and more Canadian banks. It's the only reason that's stopping me from upgrading my fitbit charge. I currently have the charge 2. I may go to Samsung Active if Fitbit is not able to add more banks.
