I rollerskate with friends mostly twice a week and would like to try track this correctly rather than counting as steps please. Thanks In advance.

I would really love to be able to track my skating. I’ve tried using run, bike, workout, but it doesn’t register my miles/steps.

Can you please add skating or hockey as an activity?   The step and activity tracking is way off when trying to track someone that plays a lot of hockey or skates.

Thanks,

Please vote for the suggestion below, so that perhaps Fitbit will listen to their users, about adding some other exercises options in the activity shortcut.  It's obviously a want from people, dating back to 2015 and would be such a simple software upgrade.  Puzzled as to why Fitbit has not implemented this yet.

I'd also really appreciate an inline skating as an activity. My Charge 2 has elliptical and treadmill (which I've never used) so why not add something which is actually a sport like skating!

Thankyou,

That’s an interesting idea and could be useful for all rollerbladers out there, thanks for sharing this suggestion.

Please add roller skating as a trackable exercise

Not only does it need an Inline skating mode but it also would be good if it supported Connected GPS to track elevation and other parameters in this Skating mode.

Please add rollerskating as a selectable exercise. And please make sure it is connected to the GPS.

I like rollerblading and would love seeing a sport category for skating. I have been using the workout feature for the heart rate monitoring but I would really like the gps added without the pace feature of running/walking.

Please add some skating categories to your list. In particular Roller Derby and Outdoor Skating (with Blades & Quads listed seperately as Quades have at least double the resistance of blades, therefore require more effort over the same distance) - if this is too complex then Perhaps introduce various skating intensities (low, moderate, high) instead...

PLEASE add a skating feature for any type of skating: roller, quad, inline, board, etc.

I think it should track SPEED in km/hr if you want! And distance, and track GPS. Basically, the bike mode but with steps!!!!!!!

would be useful for skate boarders too! Everyone! Please make this. I want to be able to track speed, distance, and steps when roller blading.

I have the Charge 2. I would like to have Roller Skating and Roller Blading added to the auto detect modes

Please add this feature to track rollerblading / inline skating as an exercise.

At least, should track heart rate, distance, calories. Connect GPS if possible to see the map.

It's really a popular activity and very effective, and would add a lot of value to Fitbit products and app.

Hope to see this added soon. Thank you.

I completely agree. I would love it. If rollerblading would count in my
steps i would master my step team challenges!! With accurate count!!

Please add Roller Blading (inline skating) as an exercise option.  Roller Blading is a very popular form of exercise around the country, and it's a great workout.  It is different from running or biking, so I'd like to have that option available on my Surge.  I like to mix up my cardio and roller blading is one of my favorites.

Hello,

I'd be interested in having a quick shortcut for me to start up on my Versa when I'm rollerblading indoors as well as outdoors.

It would be great to be able to track rollerblading in the fitbit app from my tracker (and not just hope that it auto tracks a sport and allows me to edit the name of the exercise).

For example, currently I use Map My Ride for outdoors rollerblading which is fine and syncs to Fitbit but is battery draining and doesn't save the GPS map to the fitbit app - it would be nice just to be able to do it straight from my Versa and have the map come up under exercises as it does with running.

I also rollerblade indoors at a roller rink and it would be nice if I could set it to start and see how many laps of the rink I do in a certain time - this would be without GPS.

Sometime the auto logging picks it up as 'walking' but sometimes it doesn't at all.

It would be really nice to rely on less on other apps and just use fitbit.

Thank you for your time!
