I have a Versa & an Inspire HR. I would like to be able to use them both on the same account. I use the Versa everyday & recently purchased the Inspire HR for wearing when I go out, as it is dainty & cute. Because I cannot add it to my account it is virtually useless to me. These devices are not cheap & customers should be able to see clearly before they purchase them if they have any limitations.
I used to own a Charge 2 and a Versa synced to my account which was perfect! I would use my Charge 2 for working out, hiking and basically any other sweating dirty activity. I would use my Versa for everything else. Both would sync to my account and I'd have an accurate view of my activity for the day.
My Charge 2 just died and there is no viable replacement. The new "fleet" of fitbit products won't allow multiple trackers to be synced to the same account. This is very frustrating. I enjoyed my Versa being my nicer watch and I don't want to bang it up (break it) working out.
Hope the functionality to sync multiple trackers to the same account comes back.
How disappointing. Just tweeted about this, to see that this was suggested over a year ago and nothing has been done is not very customer focussed in my mind.
I have a Fitbit Blaze that is quite beat up but still works. I have a new Fitbit blaze and would like to be able to use it for office wear while using the older one for athletics and outdoor work.
Please update the app to allow two of the same model tracker. I have notice this request previously and there seems to be a lot of demand for such a feature.
Hi @rjhenry, this is a great idea, and thanks for explaining why you'd like to have this option in the Fitbit app. This feature suggestion already exists, so I’ve moved your post here. This is not currently planned at this moment. You can keep adding your votes to this suggestion so we can keep tracking this request overtime. Learn more about how Fitbit decides what suggestions get released in ourFAQs. See you around.
How do we vote on this? Because I’d like to cast 1,000 votes that this capability should be enabled. I now need/want to return either my Versa or my Charge 3 or both because of this. It was never communicated and I feel like I’ve wasted my money. Interesting note: you can add a Versa and a Charge 2 into the same account, which only makes this even more frustrating!! It seems like a giant miss by Fitbit. If I were a Board Member or an Executive for the company, I’d be incredibly disappointed in the team that made this decision. It is incredibly short-sighted (at best) or a major mistake.
I had bought a Fbit Ionic Addidas edition but returned it as I didn't want the hassle of pairing and installation of a new Fitbit each time I switch between my Versa and other Fitbits!
I recently purchased a second inspire hr so I could alternate between the 2 devices when one was charging, however am not able to add the second. The app only allows me to replace my current with the new one. When contacting the help center I was told to create a second account but would be unable to link the accounts. Would like to be able to alternate between 2 devices and view the all the stats in one play as the 2 devices would not have stats for the same times.
Actually you can alternate between the two identical styles, but it would take a bit of work on your part. You would need to sync and then set up the desired device as a replacement on an existing account. The history would be combined and you'd have just the one account. It can work, but it takes a bit of time to switch them back and forth. When you need to charge, why not do it when you're taking a shower or watching a movie? That way, you don't really lose the steps and you are able to keep just one device going.
Hi @Galan10, thanks for taking the time to share why you would like to see this option on the Fitbit app. This feature suggestion already exists, so I’ve moved your post here. I would definitely buy a Versa if it could be used alongside other trackers. It's too big for me to wear to work. Disappointing that such an old thread has no official update
According to my twitter, it is being worked on. However, I would be much happier if they stop developing new products for me to buy without having the technology to use them altogether. Come on FITBIT, starting to look at other products.
I had a charge 2 & Versa connected together and enjoyed switching between them. I got the charge 3 so that both of my devises were swim proof. I had no idea I would not be able to have both of them attached at that same time. Had I known this I likely would not have purchased the Charge 3.
Last week my Versa stopped working. I took it for a swim and 10mins in the screen went dark and stopped working completely. So I sent it back for repairs. In the meantime I decided to purchase the Inspire HR to hold me over until my Versa was returned. To my surprise I was not able to add both devices to my account. I thought for sure this was some kind of mistake so I contacted Fitbit via Facebook. They informed me this issue was being fixed and provided me with link to this forum. I can't believe this is still an issue as this was first addressed last year. LAST YEAR! First of all, what kind of business plan to you have where your customers can only own one of your products at a time. Nonsense. Second, why would you link me to a forum that is a year old? I am most definitely returning my Inspire HR immediately. And if my Versa breaks when getting wet again then I'm done with Fitbit all together.
Still very disappointing, have just tweeted Fitbit again asking for up-to-date situation, may well need constantly reminding on twitter that we good customers ares still here, but to be honest like you I am starting to look at alternatives.
You made multiple devices with different looks. I use one for coaching and one for working. The fact that I would need two different logins and fitbit accounts is crazy!
Time to bring the software up to the level of your hardware!
Hi @coachgeorge, thanks for explaining why you would like to have this option on the Fitbit app. I've moved it into a similar suggestion which has been updated as "Under Consideration". You can learn more about here. Keep adding your suggestions!
How do we get the attention of the Chairman of Fitbit?
It is painfully obvious they do not monitor this forum or they would be very embarrassed. Or at least they should be!
I have NEVER seen the poor customer service from any other product I have owned. I think the Board should be cleaning house and firing some decision, or more accurately " Lack of decision makers". You should all be embarrassed to work for such a lousy company.
Need to voice your displeasure on Twitter also, that is what I do and am doing, the forum is great for people to get to know about the issue, but I think it goes no further, it needs to be more global and that means getting it out there on social media.
