Ambient Temperature Sensor To Adjust Calorific Burn

As far as idea/suggestions go how about this:

an ambient temperature sensor.

rationale being the outside temperature when it gets very cold will cause a higher caloric burn.

Hi @LabMom65, thanks for explaining why you would like to use temperature and humidity to increase calories burned accuracy. Thanks for sharing your feedback. I've moved it into a similar request.  A lot of users are asking for this option, I hope we receive updates soon. You can also vote for this other suggestion: Consider adding “chores” or “yard work” as an activity.

When it is hot out we burn more calories sweating trying to regulate our body temp. So for example if it is 75° out light wind and it's perfect weather you burn say 1000calories over 4miles. Now conversely you walk another 4miles and it is 98° with 95% humidity, now you burn 1800calories. Add weather calorie adjuster app to track weather's effects.
