I have to try and push with one hand!! They can have pretty but functionally ankle devices some can be practically for a guy and pretty like an ankle bracelet for a women!!! Please develop this!! I would love to see Fitbit create a tracker made to be worn on the ankle.  I be,i Eve this would be representative of actual step activity.  When wearing the Fitbit on the wrist, there are times when I get “steps” for clapping at a show, etc.  There are also times when activity is missed because my arm is stable (holding a laundry basket, etc. There are knock off bands that can be purchased to wear the device on the ankle.  I would prefer to buy something directly from Fitbit and know they could do a better job creating a product with this use in mind.

I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease a year ago.  One of the side effects is I have difficulty moving my arms when I walk/run.  This throws off my step counts.  I have an old Charger (I think) and ended up taking the band off.  I stuff it into one sock every day.  But I'm always worried about it falling out.

It would be nice to have some kind of an ankle band/bracelet to keep it in place.

Considering how many PD people are out there and how many keep being diagnosed every year, I think it would be a brilliant way to help encourage us to walk (which really does help).  Plus it might give you ideas for other types of movement disorders and how your product could help as well as open new revenue lines for the company.

Hi, I got the Inspire HR band.   It is amazing and fantastic.   Unfortunately, I have a bone in my wrist that gets in the way.   I love my Fitbit but need something that won’t bruise me.   It looks awful and is sore.  I tried other ways to wear my band but it won’t work.   A hope for a different design please.   Please design something for me and others.    Thanks Brenda

Sometimes my fitbit tracks steps even when I'm just typing on the keyboard or doing chores. If there was a sleek band/bracelet on each ankle and on the other wrist, you could configure the data from your legs and arms to get more accurate data.

Hi Fitbit  Team,

Have you ever considered making a tracking device that can be worn around a person's ankle. You would get better accuracy of steps actually taken instead of from the non-dominate wrist. I would love it if you created a band the I could drop my Fitbit in and put it around my ankle.

My partner works in hospital and is not able to wear a fitbit on his wrist for hygiene reasons.

It would be helpful if there was a versatile, waterproof fitbit that could be moved from the wrist to say the bicep, or even worn on the ankle just for tracking during the day

An ankle band to pair with the watch. The ankle band would only have the technology to count steps & sync to watch.

Fitbit bracelet for arm or for leg (ankle)

Sometimes i wear other watches for meetings etc..and two watches look stupid 🙂 Would be nice to still track everything i do. So i thought maybe a bracelet or ankle bracelet if you do not want too much on your arms for keeping track of your performance. With no display orso, but connected to your phone.

I wouldn't mind a flexible band that I could put my Charge 2 in that would slide onto my ankle. I teach dance for fitness and because my arms don't move at times, I lose hundreds of steps that are not recognized or recorded. Right now, I either tuck it into a snug sock against my ankle or modify an old terry wrist band with Velcro  that I sewed a small sleeve for the C2 and a hole cutout for the heart rate monitor to have access to the pulse at my ankle. Whether it's for the reason stated above or for a need like mine, something for the ankle would be awesome. Device or accessory for existing devices.

@Fitbit you better to develop a Fitbit to wear on legs for running & walk to count more accurate calorie burn other than wrist. Because it won’t calculate calories if you won’t move hands even running or walking( while holding bags or umbrellas or water bottles ) #MorningRuns #walking #running #Fitbit

Maybe you guys could come up with a slap band be attached to the ankles that would send signals to the watch/app so we could record cycling to our app, in Steps

I wish there was a tracker that you would attach to the shoe and then linked to the fitbit tracker. I also wish the food logs tracked sugar and other nutrients.

There are Fitbit devices that you can attach to your shoes. There is the Fitbit Zip, Fitbit Alta, Fitbit Inspire, and Fitbit Inspire 2. The Zip, Alta, and original Inspire are np longer sold in the Fitbit stores. You can still get those trackers on Amazon and Fitbit still gives support for them as well. You need to buy an additional clip to put the trackers in that will attach to your shoes. Here are the links for the trackers and the clips from Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Fitbit-Wireless-Activity-Tracker-Charcoal/dp/B0095PZHZE/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&k...

The Fitbit Inspire 2 can be purchased directly from the Fitbit store and here is the link https://www.fitbit.com/global/us/products/trackers/inspire2?sku=418BKBK. You can also get the clip the Inspire 2  from the Fitbit store.

I hope this helps.

I suggest either making a tiny sensor you can attach to your shoe to track walking running bicycling on INDOOR MACHINES if you have a simple sensor that you could attach to your shoes laces, no need to connect to 3rd p. Apps and you’ll always have accurate count of your steps even when bicycling!
