Blood pressure Fitbit device with historical tracking

It would be great if Fitbit either created a blood pressure monitor and a glucose monitor that would sync with the dashboard or if they would team up with another company (Omron, diabetic community app) to have their product sync with the dashboard instead of having to manually enter it.

I agree. Blood pressure monitoring is forward thinking, and other companies either are now, or soon will be, making it available on their devices/apps.. I'm keeping my eye on the future, and will continue to research what will best serve my needs. Fitbit should take heed.

Blood Pressure is an important health issue.  It should be on all FitBits!  Please add this function.  It is what I am waiting for.

My original request was for a blood pressure add or device. We do not need to complicate the device with the glucose feature as well - I don’t know how that would be even possible. The Fitbit moderator thought to group the requests and now I believe it is too big for Fitbit to consider.

I agree the glucose thing doesn't fit in

I originally opened a request for a blood sugar tracker; manual entry. It actually would be possible to do in a watch form but that was not the original request. Don't know who combined them.

Would like a place to enter and graph my blood sugars by date and time like other features on Fitbit.

Absolutely! I have been looking at other alternatives and I am sure many other people are looking as well. Fitbit is missing out on customers.

Please add tracking blood pressure.  Heart health is important!  You keep track of heart rate and resting heart rate, It wouldn't be hard to add a blood pressure log.

Hey @Michelle1072thanks for taking the time to share this idea with us. This feature suggestion already exists so I’ve moved your post here. At the moment it is not planned to implement it. Nonetheless you can still add your vote.

Im not sure if the technology for this exists today. There are several watches that do measure blood pressure but they have BP Cuffs built into the watch band.

Great idea.  Even the ability to log manual information as an edit to the heart rate would be helpful for those who need to monitor BP and/or glucose regularly.  It's really helpful to be able to see all of this information in one place and to be able to track trends.

I am in my late 70's and have been told that I have advanced angina. The only treatment other than medication is exercise, lowering my blood pressure and keeping my weight down. Please add a blood pressure monitor to your devices. As soon as this is available, I will be a fitbit customer.

I think a blood pressure monitor feature is a brilliant idea. That is something I am looking for right now.

Would that make it a medical device and would it then require FDA approval in the United States?  I dont know about other countries laws and regulations of medical devices.  Giving false or inaccurate information could be a problem.

Don’t know the legal part not a lawyer but I know there’s other sports bands that offer BP on their device device.

I would love to log my BP in one place. I currently use a separate app

As per the community this used to be available.  Please add the ability to log/track blood pressure.  Would be nice to be able to add historical as well for people who have been tracking for awhile, date, time, blood pressure, notes.  And ability to export potentially.  This feature doesnt seem difficult to add.  Also, it doesnt have to live on the dashboard but only get added with the + symbol for people who want to see it.  Even the ability to check off that you took a pill would be good.  For example you would be able to add a pill with frequency for ex daily and check the box when you take it similar to a to do list check.
