Blood pressure Fitbit device with historical tracking

It would be great if Fitbit either created a blood pressure monitor and a glucose monitor that would sync with the dashboard or if they would team up with another company (Omron, diabetic community app) to have their product sync with the dashboard instead of having to manually enter it.

Has anyone heard anymore on adding blood pressure to the wrist band?

Recently diagnosed with high blood pressure I have found a need to log my blood pressure a couple times a day for a long period of time this year to show trends.     I’ve been very happy with Fitbit however not having a place to log this vital health information with in this app is frustrating.      There was a place to do this in the past on Fitbit but it was discontinued.     I’m now researching other apps and services so that blood pressure can once again be part of my health walk so that when I go to the doctor we can look at it together and really do some analysis .    I don’t wanna go away from Fitbit but the convenience of having all of my information in one app is stronger than loyalty to the Fitbit brand

people with heart problems  need to monitor their blood pressure and i thought it would be easier if it was part of the tracker since it tracks everything. else.

Since kicking off in 2017, much of the agency’s work on the Pre-Cert Program has taken place behind closed doors with Apple, Fitbit, Verily, Tidepool and other early participants. Some of the agency’s early drafts of a working model caught flak from industry observers and legislative leaders alike (although a healthy share of MobiHealthNews readers said they were optimistic about the program’s potential). January’s release of a Test Plan and Working Model are among the most recent updates to the agency’s experimental effort, and will be the guidelines by which new volunteers for the program will have to abide.

Agree,

lots of cheaper activity trackers have BP monitors, so it’s possible.

Please add to Hr Inspire

Please can you make a blood pressure monitor available for the Fitbit blaze.

Please can you also make a clock face that we can customise on the app. They ones on there at the moment are old.

thank you

Hi @Keren24!  That’s an interesting idea, thanks for sharing why you would like to have an option to track your blood pressure information. I've moved it into a similar suggestion, as the more votes and comments an idea has the more visibility and momentum it gains. You can learn more about how Fitbit decides what suggestions get released in our FAQs.

I believe this would be a great idea, and wouldn’t mind it being a manual entry similar to food entries. Especially, considering the fact there is a large group for preventing diabetes on Fitbit I believe there should be a way to track blood glucose and blood pressure. If it were available on Fitbit it would be nice to be able to view averages, when the numbers were in the normal ranges, and progress shown over time similar to other things available on the app. Above all would love to have all health needs met in one app.

Is there any chance in the future that your fitbits lite will be able to record blood pressure  monitoring...cheaper models can do it...

Thank you.

I'm astonished that Fitbit doesn't have a place to even *store* blood pressure info, let alone the ability to use that data to improve my fitness score. I bought a cuff, because tracking BP is both critical to understanding health, fitness, and recovery. But while I can log the water and electrolytes I drink in Fitbit (what for?) I can't log what matters: the results of that water and electrolytes. Please help guys!!!!
