Just bought a Charge 6 today and was disappointed to learn there is now Spotify app. Really hope they add this soon. Thankfully I have 30 days to return my purchase.
Just received my Charge 6. I do subscribe to YouTube Premium and still uninstalled the app from the Charge immediately. I only use Spotify for music and that will not change unless Spotify itself is discontinued. So please, bring Spotify support back, you're only making my life more difficult as is.
Indeed. Nobody needs Youtube Music. Google have the attention span of a 3 years ild hey will drop YouTube Music in a year or two. So might as well integrate with an actual music app.
I think there's a larger issue with Google and Spotify. They don't even recognise Spotify as an option for default music provider on the Pixel. Hope they understand that there are plenty of users looking for this integration. Or at least make it a universal player instead of just YouTube Music

It's getting near time to update from the charge 4, but I refuse to do so without Spotify support. I have tried YouTube music and I didn't like it. Since I'm not going to change I would ask that you do add Spotify support and I will continue to use your product
To implement the feature to use Spotify on Fitbit devices such as Charge 6, including the ability to skip or rewind tracks, or potentially pause the music.

The feature of YouTube could be copied and reproduced for Spotify. I don't understand why they haven't done it yet... So there are two options: either we vote or we return it. Let's go vote.
How is Spotify, one of the most popular music apps not available as a basic option for the Charge 6? As someone who works in the brand and advertising field, this surely would bring others like me to return the Charge 6 and step down to the Charge 4 for music functionality or find another product. This is a missed pain point on the UX Research and limits Android users who don’t have Apple, or even everyday users who can’t afford another premium service for YouTube. Unless there is a contract with Apple or Google to brand their software over others, I don’t see how this was missed. Consumers mainly listen to music, and look for devices that play their content during workouts. So, if you’re not offering the integration they need, you miss out on a sale or risk a returned item (which is where my thought is now as a new purchaser).
With all the play lists etc our family has set up in Spotify, we are never moving to any other music service. Please put Spotify on Charge 6. Crazy for me to be wearing a Fitbit but having to use my phone/earbuds to control my music when walking.
Hi @Jspears08, and thanks for taking the time to share this product feedback about having Spotify and YouTube music as options to control music from your Fitbit device with us. I noticed a similar product feedback was already requested on this board, so I’ve moved your post here. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE add Spotify app to the Charge 6. Spotify is the best. I will never use the YouTube music feature on my Fitbit. It’s a wasted feature.
