Bring back speed and maximum speed chart to Fitbit app

I use fitbit to track on a google map my bike rides. The recent fitbit application update deleted the speed chart. This was a very helpful key feature for me. The device I use now only has an average speed based on split segments. It is not useful to me. Please bring back the speed chart and the maximum speed recorded.

Totally agree. The fact that I can see the top speed on my watch after I finish my ride but cannot have it recorded on the Fitbit app is highly disappointing. This alone makes me really regret updating the Fitbit app.

I was told yesterday that maximum speed was never a feature. I miss max speed as it was something to talk about or find out how terrifyingly fast going down a hill can be!

Besides biking I used GPS tracking feature of watch when foiling. Speed
records really useful for foiling as it helps with adjusting foil setup
versus wind conditions. I can only check on speed data from laptop. It was
really nice having it available on phone after session to compare with
friends. They use Strava and Garmin watch. Maybe I should switch..

Yes, please bring them back. Those were my fav things to track after my bike rides. I was very surprised that any data would be cut off. I thought giving as much data as possible is the goal with these sporty smart watches.

Now I have to look for alternative apps. 😕

I too relied a lot on my max speed data. It's important for my pacing and racing. Please bring it back!

I'm writing to request the return of the maximum speed metric after workouts. While average speed is helpful, having access to the maximum speed reached during an exercise is crucial for many users

Ok, it’s not just me! I’ve tried everything I can think of to “fix” this issue and I now see it was removed entirely. That’s ridiculous. I can’t see any reason to remove such a good feature.

I completely agree that the removal of the speed and maximum speed chart from the Fitbit app is a significant step backward. As a cyclist, I heavily relied on this feature to track my progress, analyze performance, and set new goals.

The average speed based on split segments is simply not enough to provide a comprehensive overview of my rides. Having the ability to visualize speed changes over time and identify peak speeds is crucial for improving my cycling performance.

I urge Fitbit to prioritize bringing back this essential feature. It's a valuable tool for many users and its absence is a major inconvenience.

Same for me, checking topspeed after a city skate session, or windsurf session was one of the great things of my Fitbit.

While windsurfing, I practically never raced a 1km track in my life. Usually about 100m until I turn around, loosing lots of speed in the process if not crashing in the water. This renders a 1km average useless to me.

When skating through Amsterdam there are a lot of obstacles and stops the occasional stops at a traffic light.

Practically impossible to do a 1km track without interruption.

So an upvote from me too, please bring it back!

I use the speed to check my wind foiling efficiency in San Diego bay. The
average is useless to me. And Google suspended the website so I could
check it there. I hear Garmin provide actual speed numbers..
