Bring back step streak on new Fitbit app

I am on day 997 of getting 10,000 or more steps a day in a row. I was looking forward to seeing 1,000 on a few days. I can’t believe you took that feature away.

My streak of steps show up, but they are off by 960 days. (Shows 60, should be 1020). I’ve reached out numerous times but they still haven’t fixed it.

My step streak does not show my history, which was over 1000 days. Shows
count of 63 which was when the app was upgraded. Fitbit Support said it was
a “known issue” but no additional information.

Not all of us had their step streak history restored with the recent app
release. Can you shed any light on the issue and whether it is being
worked on?

Yes, I have the same question. I had over 1,000 days on my streak when the
downgrade to the app ocurrred. Now I have 62 days. When it was originally
reported that the streak would be added back, it stated that no days would
be lost. Has that changed?

Thank you for bringing back the streak count but my current streak goes
back to 1/20/22, when will my streak be updated to this date?

I had 1000 steps back in mid-September and now have only a 9 day streak. All of my history is there is I scroll back but the streak is incorrect. What is the plan to get this corrected? I have purchased a new fitbit and need to know this will be corrected or I will be returning it.

Yes - similar story for me - today was 1181 consecutive days  over 10,000 steps and Fitbit now says I have 16 consecutive.  I can see all of the history in the APP so it is all still there.  I have been a loyal Fitbit user since 2017 and this is what we have to deal with now.  Might be time to listen to my Apple friends.  I am so frustrated - but I am happy for those users that are the lucky ones where it finally started working for them again.  HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!

Truth be told it is enroute. I bought a used 7 which has the fast charge feature. I've been through a fitbit charge 4 and inspire 3 inside a year. All to say I'm enjoying the fitness experience without relying on my wearable telling me just that.

I’m not there yet….. still using my Fitbit but keeping track on a paper calendar of my step streak. So far I’ve got 958 days of hitting my goal every day.
What I said about apple is that if they don’t fix the step streak situation on Fitbit I will switch to Apple when my FB craps out. Since they took away our challenges the only tie I had to that platform was my step streak. Without that I have no reason to stick with them.

I have the same problem. I updated my iPhone to 17.1.1 and FINALLY started
seeing my step streak, but it started with the day of the update. I should
have over 1,000 days. It's so stupid. Even when I look at my monthly
stats it at least says I hit my goal for 23 days so far, but my streak says
9. I had around 965 days in a row before Fitbit messed everything up and I
haven't stopped my streak. An Apple watch will definitely be my next watch
purchase.

So, when will that step streak come back to my fitbit?

Step streak is back, only it’s hidden under steps now.. and has reset to start counting at zero.

It’s not on mine. And WHY would you reset back to zero???????? I’m almost to 1,000 days!!! This stinks!

I found the step streak display. It is utterly amateur.

With this reset, I too lost my previous streak count, which goes back to 02/18/22. Yes, the “streak” has been reinstated, but why hide it, and why not restore the consecutive day count to reflect our streaks accurately? It’s not as if the data have been deleted, so why can’t a BIG DATA industry leader like Meta provide that information for us?

If your update has been installed, there is a battery indicator on the upper left. Then the streak total appears when you click on the shoe telling you your steps for the day. My daughter got the update be reinstalling Fitbit from the App Store.

You need to have met your goal for that day before it will show up..

Thanks!!! I can’t believe they’re making this so difficult! But I appreciate your help!

I’ve met my goal EVERY day for 963 days. And it’s not showing up anywhere anymore. It used to show up daily. Ever since they started screwing around with things like taking away our challenges a few months back I started keeping track on a hard calendar just in case they did this. I’m pretty much done with Fitbit…. When I have to replace my device I’ll be looking at other options. Too bad…. Since I’ve been with them almost since they started.

I have had luck getting someone to respond to me directly by Tweeting @Fitbitsupport on X (or Twi-X as I now call it). The person said they are aware of the issue with the step streak being wrong and they are working on it. The person even started a ‘case’ for my issue (My Fitbit says my step streak is at 72 days but I am on day 1031.). Whenever I twi-x back for an update, at least someone is quick to respond. I checked today and their reply (within a hour) was they checked my case and they’re still working on it.

I bought another brand and and started wearinG both (at 1000 days) to compare - and if Fitbit doesn’t fix the streak, I can use the new one only and just add 1000 to the streak it shows.
