Bring back the old sleep summary page

When I had my Charge 5 and the first few weeks of having my Charge 6 the app would give me a sleep summary page with, Sleep Stages, Time in each stage, Oxygen levels and Bedtime and wakeup all on a handy page. Since a recent update I now seem to get a much more basic three tiles and I have to open each one and look through for all the information.

The sleep information is now close to unusable.  Where is the graph?

Seems Fitbit keeps changing the app (for the worse usually) because their programmers have nothing better to do.

Please 🙏 bring back the old sleep display. The new display is terrible!

TOM2023 that's my suspicion as well. If Fitbit continued to do well no one would even consider Google products.  Ruining it is the only way to get people move over.

The new sleep update is horrible and extremely hard to understand. Why was this so called ‘update’ done? No one likes it and would like the previous version returned. Another case of someone trying to justify their job by coming up with something new and improved. This one is not an improvement.

@TomB2023 - a solid piece of reasoned thinking.  I only took it so far as Google incompetence, but the age old principle of buying your competition so you can “kill” it is a solid theory quite applicable to this situation.

Does anyone know if other fitness trackers (Apple Watch, garmin, etc) have good sleep trackers?  I’ve stuck with Fitbit for almost 10 years due to convenience and cost, but I’m quickly getting more and more disappointed in the app and product since Google took over. I’d love alternative recommendations

Wow. That sums it up with a nice bow!

Who's hair-brained idea was it to downgrade the sleep graph? Did it get reviewed before it got released? Is it some sort of trick to make users pay for a better version (like the one before the s/w update?) If this is the case it is pretty much like stealing/blackmailing: "we take away what you've had and if you want it back you have to pay." The way it goes I doubt my next smartwatch will be a Fitbit. Unless the company becomes market responsive.

@EPHK I have been on the Premium subscription since they started it and it appears that the sleep tracker is equally destroyed on both sides of the paywall.

@TomB2023 , I think you may be exactly right that that is what is actually going on and, if that is the case,I find that to be a repulsive business practice and makes me quite certain I will never be buying a Google watch. I have often defended Google products as I love google drive and gmail, but if this is how they are approaching their customers, to disrespect the actual value these products are contributing in our lives and trying to manipulate its loyal customers into buying what they want us to buy by taking value away from our lives, gross...Google, if this really what's going on, please rethink the ethics of your business strategy. Keep the fitbit a high quality platform and if you want to shut it down, shut it down, don’t just slowly ruin it. Don’t sour your relationship with your customers on the way to wherever you are trying to go.

I believe you can reverse your like. Cannot like more than once and if you
try twice your original like is subtracted.

Arg! The updated sleep tracker is now worthless. Why change things just to make them worse? And no way to roll back? Frustrating. Maybe in the future ask users their thoughts before you change things. HATE it.

Thanks, very informative.

The fitbit app used to give percentages for the different phases of sleep in the sleep report. But with the latest update the percentages are no longer listed.

I hate the update to the sleep portion of the app! The recent updates were bad enough, but this is the last straw!

I completely agree!  This is probably the worst “upgrade” I have seen. I miss the colours and the easy to use/click sleep graph.  The white background makes it difficult to decipher  I only use the Fitbit for sleep - if they don’t change it, I guess I will be saying “so long” to the bit.

if Fitbit is reading this - please please please change it back!

I want to also throw in my thoughts that the new sleep profile is extremely tough to read and a major step down from what it was. I hope you consider changing it back to what it originally was. Thanks.

So recently I got a fitbit to track my sleep especially and realized thwy turned it into a simplified ugly dots. I preferred the navy blue graph with the colors, it looked so modern and nice! I wish I could upload pictures to show what I mean but the simplified version just... it looks glitched out.

I hate the changes Google is making to Fitbit. Today's change with the sleep tracker is the worst. I can't see my restoration or my percentages. The user interface is NOT user-friendly. The sleep tracker is my #1 feature I use on Fitbit. The changes being made are making Fitbit irrelevant and obsolete to me. It's pushing me to shop around for something better unless the previous interface and data is restored. I hate the changes. I can't express it enough other than to cancel my premium subscription and trash my Fitbit.

It’s harder to look at the sleep data with the new interface in some ways.

The new update has absolutely butchered the sleep data presentation. Too much white space that blends with the surrounding page, dotty lines that are hard to view, a colour scheme that is so neutral the data disappears into the background PLUS changes to the data summary that have removed some key views that I relied on. The update is HORRIBLE.

Recent updates to charge 4 are absolutely horrible. Sleep Tracking is annoying modified.Recent update on Premium are a step backwards. Exercise tracking seems fine
Thanks Google!!!

I am a long-time Fitbit User ... but I will NEVER buy another Fitbit unless you bring back the Sleep Schedule Functionality!!!
