Bring back the old sleep summary page

When I had my Charge 5 and the first few weeks of having my Charge 6 the app would give me a sleep summary page with, Sleep Stages, Time in each stage, Oxygen levels and Bedtime and wakeup all on a handy page. Since a recent update I now seem to get a much more basic three tiles and I have to open each one and look through for all the information.

I didn’t even realize there was a sleep stage time summary in tiny font on each line representing the stages until I searched for what happened to it and watched a video about the new layout. Why would fitbit choose such a difficult to read data display and not offer a tutorial on how to read it?

I agree - bring back the old sleep summary.   I want to know what time I woke up and for how long.    The old sleep graph gave me that information.   This new sleep graph is terrible.   The previous version was much better and higher tech.

I cannot post it here as the moderator has noted we cannot provide fixes
here. It was posted on Fitbit under a user name golferhcw

I find it very frustrating that with the new sleep format I cannot determine what the normal range is for folks of my age.   I want the old benchmark back. Please!

Will that fix the inaccurate readings as well?

I see I’m not the only one unhappy with the downgraded app. What prompted these changes? It’s almost unusable. Perfectly good product ruined.

If FitBit are aware of everyone’s anger then how about providing some acknowledgement or feedback. Just tell us you are taking it onboard….
the silence is PATHETIC!

Fitbit seems content to lose 1000s of customers over this horrible update
to the sleep app.

I too am in the process of switching to Oura. It will free up my wrist
anyway ...

It's at the top of each line in the graph.

Drag your finger across the chart and it tells you the times you woke up
and when you went back to sleep. Same for the other phases.

Mine started working the other day. Update your app and see if it works
now.

Right… can’t be done.
No! They won’t take the time to do it.
That’s the issue. They do not care enough about keeping customers or they
would figure out a way to improve it.
That’s the real issue here.

Please change the sleep timeline back to the way it was. Not happy with this new format

Quick note. The Oura ring does not have any type of 'wake up alarm' functionality. So, though I've already canceled Premium, I'll be keeping my Sense for the watch/alarm functionality at night. It should be interesting comparing the sleep data from Fitbit with the data from Oura before my Premium subscription runs out.

according to multiple reviews, Sleep data with the Oura is better.
I use my phone for alarms, so NO need for the Fitbit for that

...and another thing..... what in heavens name does [range] '...for people like you' mean??  It used to provide a range for 'Women my age' but now it could be providing a range for 'people' who are my height or my weight or my country of residence or right-arm device wearers........seriously!  Political correctness gone mad.  To make specific comparisons we need specific criteria.  Stats01......basic.

Well, it probably means people like you, which can only be what you have
entered about yourself in settings. Sex, weight, age. Don't over think it.

They have more opportunities to destroy more areas for those that like the blood pressure chart and limiting it more so you can’t rotate it or make it crunched and not readable … oh and add more text on top of the chart so it looks like it has more information… but make the text larger so you can’t see the chart like the other areas like the steps and sleep portion of the app… and can we make the app not report the data from the watch not to work properly or better yet just say hey we don’t know how Fitbit make this work and just stop making those areas read and report it in the ole app.. hey if google can’t get it to work then you really didn’t need it and by the way… who’s really using… hey google pixel must be a better watch since they know there audience so well… now that they just pist off 3,000+ current users… now there’s a selling point for a marketing PR twist… screw word of mouth sales or keeping the new google buy out of Fitbit to eliminate competition… Fitbit sale must have made a fortune for google to put it on the shelf/destroy it program… need to look into what the other health watches/devices are offering…

My issue with the revised sleep benchmark beth is that the typical range does not appear on my Android phone in the app. I have just checked my iPad. It does appear in The Apple app. It seems that Google/fitbit needs to modify the app so that the benchmarks appear in the Android phone app.

I have discovered that the range appears on the Apple app, but not in the
Android app on my phone. Fitbit needs to repair the Android version of the
app.

I also am begging for the previous sleep format to come back. I have already posted my thoughts on the Fitbit communication page, and I’m hoping that since I now have an email on this subject it may be closer to being a reality for the thousands of people who have proclaimed their dissatisfaction with the new sleep page. Bring it back!!!!!!!!!

Feel the same, the new sleep analysis is dreadful, impossible to understand and lacking in some features the older version had.
