Bring back the old sleep summary page

When I had my Charge 5 and the first few weeks of having my Charge 6 the app would give me a sleep summary page with, Sleep Stages, Time in each stage, Oxygen levels and Bedtime and wakeup all on a handy page. Since a recent update I now seem to get a much more basic three tiles and I have to open each one and look through for all the information.

What I don't understand is why monitors aren't allowed to respond to these
emails. At least, forum folks should know that their concerns are reaching
decision maker, no?

The moderator says: " If this product feedback receives votes from other customers and gains popularity, it will be shared internally with various teams at Fitbit." Yeah, what a joke! It's been going on since the end of March and no response, other than to take down the posts they don't like!

This is great! At least it was when I was still getting a sleep score. Two nights ago I stopped getting a sleep score and only see total time awake and asleep. Extremely disappointing. I can’t find anything helpful online. Some users had this happen through the years, but there is nothing recent on it.

I switched to Google yesterday, hoping that would help, but it didn’t.

Has anyone else found anything that works?

I concur with the other 2000+ postings in this thread. Its simply unbelievable whats going on. Its been like this since fall 2023, and fitbit (or whoever Alpabet manager is on this now) does not care about it anymore. They made it even worse end of March 2024 with 4.15 Currently 6 updates later, its not restored.

Considering that typically, around 0.1% of customers would even take the time and effort to write and complain about this kind of product, I am amazed that 2000+ inside 3 months have publicly complained in just this one thread (There are numerous other threads complaining about this just here at fitbit's own forums) Dont even think about all the complaints floating at reddit and other such forums, or feedback websites.
It is really a textbook example of "How to kill a successful and thriving company in less than a year"

I dropped my premium subscription when it was up for renewal. I thought I was over-reacting when I wrote and complained, but your mentioning over 2000+ people reacting the same way makes me feel less like Debbie Downer!

You captured the dates exactly as that’s when I remember going from a very satisfied customer to one that complained. Couldn’t believe they would sabotage those of us happy to stay with Fitbit versus jumping to Apple Watch.

While premium offered some fun things, I’m ok with just knowing my overall/general sleeping patterns and capturing the steps I’ve taken during the day. I do miss the option that used to record how many flights of steps I took during the day. Oh well. Thanks for writing and reminding me I’m not the only dissatisfied customer!

You are correct! I made the switch to Apple Watch but would have preferred to stay with the OLD Fitbit.

There are thousands of us that are very unhappy with it but they do not
listen. I don’t think they care.

Absolutely correct. They don’t care about our satisfaction.

  • I've just cancelled my subscription. They don't care about supplying a product their customers actually want.

Although I agree that the old version was better, I have discovered that if you put your finger on any line in the sleep app, it will show you the exact minutes you were in that sleep zone - really quite detailed even though I don't like the way it looks as much.

You are correct. I did know that. Thanks very much.

Thank you so much Jogger. At least this will enable me to edit out more
accurately the times it thinks I am asleep when I am just reading/watching
TV.

Cheers 👍😊

That they don't care about us is obvious!!! Bring back the OLD version with the informational sleep score!!!

Fitbit, now part of the mass giant Google, it large enough where they have
chosen to abandon the existing customer base because it would cost them
time and money to revert the code to the prior useable state.

Some manager up the line has decided the new app is better, and has no
interest in admitting they were wrong in their choice to break something
that was working well.

Literally thousands have abandoned their Fitbit devices for Oura, Apple
Watch, and others. Someone at Fitbit / Google needs to pay attention, but
that would be mean caring for existing owners. THEY DON'T
