Bring back the old sleep summary page

When I had my Charge 5 and the first few weeks of having my Charge 6 the app would give me a sleep summary page with, Sleep Stages, Time in each stage, Oxygen levels and Bedtime and wakeup all on a handy page. Since a recent update I now seem to get a much more basic three tiles and I have to open each one and look through for all the information.

The new sleep tracker app is not user friendly at all.
It is messy looking and hard to read. I cringe every morning when I go into my sleep app & then just look at the benchmark. It doesn't read anywhere as well as the old sleep tracking app.

I agree with all the comments here indicating the total disregard of Google corporation for their customers. I continue to use fitbit with the hope that someone on the Google ivory tower with some common sense will reverse the step they took abandoning perhaps the best tracker app for some pathetic scriblings of some apprentice in what appears to be an irracional decision.

if customers matter to Google, they have spoken and the previous fitbit app and the browser dashboard should be brought back.

I’m still using my Fitbit but I’m also using Oura ring, more elegant app. Still not as good as old  Fitbit sleep app

Emphasis on the OLD one.

re: Fitbit Sleep App .. now that it has become horrible, I have completely
switched to Oura. I find the app to be much more analytical in its uses. I
haven't worn my Sense 2 for 2+ months now because the Sleep app was the
reason for wearing it

I will be over for me when the new Apple watch comes out. Side note my bank just informed me that my e-CC on my Fitbit has been deactivated. Not going to load my CC # on google. Bye Bye.

What have you done to the sleep tracker??? I found the previous update less readable, you couldn’t zoom in and now overnight it’s become even more awful, the time line DOESN’T SHOW ANY SLEEP STAGES!  I’m going to cancel my premium subscription tomorrow as the sleep tracker was the only thing I got this for and now it’s useless!!!

My pulse is recorded as 92 on my versa 3. I was not wearing my watch, it was being charged!

The new update eliminated a graph with estimated sleep stages, and this year the changes to sleep data have been disappointing to say the least

The sleep summary in the Blog is not what I see on the app. Please bring back the old sleep stages, not this stupid "sleep timeline" with "Awake, Restless, Asleep," What good is that?

Had to revert to older pixel 4a phone with older version (ver.3.86) of fitbit app. All my problems with sync, page layout, sleep graphs , all day sync, etc, are gone.  Google please release older versions of this app so the many people with problems have a choice to try instead of giving up on fitbit and going with different brand in the future.

Any updates on this? Would like to give my Sense to my son to try, but if the sleep is still broken, well there is no point....

No updates as far as improving/ restoring the sleep function. Google now
owns Fitbit and I have heard they are going to have their own Google
tracker, so they have no intention of improving Fitbit.

The sleep tracking isn’t actually broken. The “upgrade” Google did made
the sleep tracker harder to read, less visually appealing, limited some
capabilities to track over extended periods of time, etc etc. Basically a
downgrade.

Only partially true.
Yes, it is a downgrade but isn't that important? Lots of people with sleep issues who take the information to their doctor now don't have a lot of that data.

Also, I'm finding that the reporting of this new version reports me sleeping when I'm not, and not sleeping when I am, and incorrect data in so many other sleep areas. It's just not operating correctly as well as only a faint shadow of its original self.

Thank you. Very informative and sad. I really love my Fitbit. Tell ya what - I will avoid buying a Google watch/tracker product.

Thank you. I think this is one of many Tech articles.
It's nice of you to share and perhaps will help others realize that the moderators here have a tough job to essentially delete any of us who break the rules and then not really pass any information on upstairs because there's no intention to do anything with it anyway. At least that's been many of our assumptions and no one is disputing that.

It's so sad that such a fine product, I have the Versa 3, excelled in so many ways, especially sleep, that for whatever reason, marketing, greed, whatever, it's going down the tubes.
If you want to share your watch with someone just to see if they like it, that still is valid.
The problem that most of us are having is that there was a better version that got ruined but it doesn't mean that someone can't get an idea of how these watches work and then, decide whether it would be good for him or her not knowing what the previous version had.

Perhaps you're breaking the rules? Apparently, There are rules and when we say the wrong things they have the right to delete them. Go figure.
I'm told that there are over 5000 complaints to date and I guess the ones that were less angry or more relevant to the forum got through.

There are the community forum and 22 Terms and conditions within it. So, for those of you who think we broke some type of "rule", go ahead and read all community forum & 22 terms and conditions. Fitbit is the one who decided to make the app what it is right now. We didn't sign up for a downgraded app & software when Google sold out to Fitbit.

I have same problem with not recording sleep correctly. Says I was awake
when I was asleep! The sleep tracking is just one of the many problems!!
>From what the article someone posted earlier it looks like Fitbit is going
to cease to exist in the very near future. I can guarantee I will NOT be
buying a Google watch after the lack of customers service and
communication!!!!!!

That's about all we can do.vote with our wallets.

But that has to be done en masse for any company to notice. They don't care,
so it's really up to each individual purchaser to choose to boycott a
product based on personal philosophy.

Stand your ground!
