I also agree that the challenges should be available through the website dashboard, not just the mobile apps. Some of us can't access our mobile data while at work, but we can access the webstie.
Will you please consider adding it so I can view my challenge progress when I'm at work?
I agree with needing access to the challenges on the desktop. This is expecially important for those of us without smart phones! I regularly get invited to challenges and some of the people complain because I am not accepting them. I have tried, but can't do it without a smart phone. If there is a way, please let us know how to participate in challenges with just a desktop.
Please DO add Challenges to the web Dashboard. The app is so buggy it is no longer showing my challenges & yet I can see notfications & cheers by participants. At least I could see it on my PC while the app gets de-bugged.
Please add this to your site since the app isn't working to show challenges at all! The challenge portion is currently useless because I can't see them on the app at all.
Just got the fitbit one and loving it so far, but really disappointed I can't participate with my friends' challenges since my Windows phone is not supported and there is not way to join the challenge from the web dashboard!
Please, please, please fitbit devs, this would be a great advantage to all your fitbit fans!
Keep up the good work! Hope the web challenge support comes soon 🙂
I wanted to challenge someone who has a fitbit but because he doesn't have the app, we couldn't challenge each other. He syncs daily on the computer so he should be able to participate without needing the app.
I'm in support of all of the above. Our family have fitbits and my husband was excited to be 'challenged' but to no avail, as he does not have the app on his phone. My daughters would love to be part of the challenges too as they each have a fitbit but haven't got the app on their phone as we're worried about usage costs as they're on payg.
AGREE AGREE AGREE with all of the above. My sisters both don't have smartphones and I want nothing more than to get them fitbits so we can all compete against each other for motivational purposes. But without smartphones, they can't participate so there is NO POINT in getting them devices if that's the plan I had in mind for us.
FITBIT! PLEASE MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR PEOPLE WITHOUT SMARTPHONES TO PARTICIPATE THROUGH THE WEBSITE DASHBOARD!
Wish I could vote more than once! There are plenty of folks that don't use smartphones but still use your product. It would be nice to include those folks in these challenges!
I have a Fitbit One and have recently learned about the Challenges! We'd love to be able to see the updates, status and results on the website (in addition to the app)! Please consider adding that feature to your website!!!
i agree with the ones i read about putting challenge availability on the dashboard or accessible for computer users, i don't have a smart phone and am really disappointed i cannot use my flex to its full capacity even though i paid the same as those who have smart phones -- hope the tech team is reading these or getting word of what the consumers really would like to see
Hey @RickyFitbit, thank you so much for reviewing this suggestion and sending it along to the developers. Now what can we do to get this suggestion to be "Under Consideration"? I'd gladly write to someone or do something to faciliate making challenges a reality for web users. Please let me know.
@kelfran Our next steps are to forward this to the developers and see if it's even possible to do! Once we have more information, we'll keep you all updated here.
I would really like to see Fitbit modify the system to allow Challenges to be viewed on the pc....To not permit the challenges on the pc misses an important and significant motivational aspect of the Fitbit experience...
