Have Fitbit Sense, and needs on demand O2 sats. When exercising or anytime I want to be able to check my oxygen level especially on your premium watch.
Hi @SunsetRunner, thanks for sharing this suggestion about having on demand SpO2 data on your Sense with us. This idea was already requested in the Feature Suggestions board, so I’ve moved your post here. This will help us to keep the forums organized and make sure the suggestions don't get confused, or split a popular vote. Click on the thumbs-up to show your support.
There have been innumerable complaints about this subject. Some action to give real time oxygen levels would be appreciated. Maybe the solution is to start a campaign against Fitbit and buy a watch that provides the readings since Fitbit does not appear interested in doing so.
Refunded the Fitbit sense when I found out I can't get a on demand spo2 reading. Which is pretty pathetic for the price you're paying seeing as a 20$ pulse oximeter can do it or any competing smart watch
Beyond frustrating, the Wyze watch costs a fraction of the sense and has on demand O2. Also has time to turn screen off at night so every time you roll over light is not shinning on watch.
@SunsetRunner oh, the Charge 4 can do that (turn off the screen when your asleep so it doesn't turn on every time you roll). I just had to set a sleeping target and choose the option DND (Do Not Disturb).
You really should be able to check SpO2 as needed and not just get one reading a day. This seems to me something that Fitbit could fix if they chose to as it is unlikely a hardware problem. When I bought my Sense watch my expectation, based on their website, was on demand SpO2.
Mt Fitbit Sense failed to register SpO2 for last night. This is not the first time. I have now ordered a Pulse Oximeter, an extra unexpected expense. It seem like the Sense claimed to have that ability but can do so in neither a timely or consistent manner. Very disappointed by this.
I love Fitbit sense and versa 3 and would like to buy a new one, but I need to be sure that all measurements can be done on demand, especially spO2, that's why I completely agree to this implementation suggestion. People like me with severe health issues needs a tracker that show data also on demand. Thanks
Yes. I think we all are very disappointed, indeed. Fitbit claimed to have SpO2, like the Apple Watch. Our fault for not comparing apples to apples. This is my 3 rd Fitbit, and maybe my last.
They, Fitbit told me if enough of us demand it, they can do it. They assured me the Sense had the technology that it needs to support and app for the SpO2, on demand. Thanks for your response.
Adding my name to the list of people who want full time spo2 checking. Don’t need to be on the face, but I should be able to check it like my pulse and steps. I have a Versa but am currently saving for a new Apple Watch that has this feature. I’m not brand loyal so if there isn’t one by the time I’m ready to get the Apple Watch, I have no qualms about changing. Been a loyal customer since my original charge many moons ago. This is the one thing I need, especially when I’m exercising or out. I have a pulse ox but it would me so much easier cause unless charging the Fitbit is always on my wrist. Please don’t let us down!!
For people who cannot get detailed sleep patterns (only basic), we are deprived of getting "Estimated Oxygen Variation" data. This data should be available despite basic sleep data.
Hi @Bolty2, thanks for explaining why you would like to have the option to see SpO2/pulse ox at anytime on supported Fitbit devices. I've moved it into a similar request. I think that a lot of users would like to have this option on their Fitbit devices. You can learn more about how Fitbit decides what suggestions get released in our FAQs.
Thank you again for your participation in the Feature Suggestions Forums.
Anyone ever think that perhaps the reason Fitbit won't integrate the "on demand" feature of SpO2 is because it's simply not accurate, and they (Fitbit) doesn't want you checking the accuracy?
@oeagleo Nothing they have is entirely accurate. That's not a secret. I'm not sure why they would care about SpO2 being inaccurate, given how shoddy some of their other measurements are.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: as long as it's within a margin of error, I don't really care that it's not accurate.
