Check SpO2 at anytime on supported Fitbit devices

The new Sp02 clock face is nice, but can you also add the ability to check Sp02/pulse ox at anytime during the day rather than just during sleep?

I am a fitbit user, I was thinking in buying the Sense, I didn't know it does not have SPO2 on demand, this feature is super useful, please add it

Being that the Charge 3 has an SpO2 sensor, I didn’t fathom that it wouldn’t show it in real time… I bought this for two reasons, pulse and blood O2. Right now this is a failing grade. First Fitbit, maybe last. There are cheaper options that have more features. Please add this feature.

Not having this feature when the hardware clearly supports it is a huge oversight by Fitbit. I would expect there was a reason it launched the way it did but also it's been long enough to sort out whatever the reason was. We really should have the ability to check oxygen levels on demand - other fitness devices already do this.

Why do you even keep asking for this feature if FItbit had claimed 3 years ago that this will be supported?

It would seem to be obvious that Fitbit has absolutely no intention of implementing this needed feature, not after what, 7 pages of requests, and reasons to implement it?  At least not on the Sense, but look!  Over there! There's a NEW MODEL, with the SpO2 feature 24/7 and options!  Don't bother with the $50 increase in price, this is what we've been waiting for!!!! (aka Apple)

Forget it folks, it's just not gonna happen, if it were going to happen, it would have already been done.  Give up, go to something else, like the Garmins, Apples, or even the TicWatch at $150-200 less has the feature.

Bye Fitbit.

Fitbit is now acquired by Google.
All future development will have to be raised to Google.

On-demand blood oxygen reading would be greatly appreciated for my Charge 4!

What a disappointment the Charge 3 has been.  No SPO2 on demand, obviously... The sleep time blood oxygen variation works some nights, and others I get no results, just the basic times and restless count.  The heart rate is also way off when I am exercising, always showing much lower than reality.  Oh well, it was a fun toy for a few days of sleep info, but that's it for me and fitbit.

During this ongoing Pandemic situation Real time SPO2 reading must be included in fitbit watch. Also expensive and branded smart watch like fitbit sense should include blood pressure measurement.

Hi @dipdutta0829, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback about the possibility of checking the Sp02 information on the watch in real time. This feature suggestion already exists, so I’ve moved your post here, this helps to keeps the boards more organized. Make sure to add your vote as well to support this suggestion, this helps the team of developers to keep track of popularity and demand over time.

I wouldn't have opted for Fitbit had I known SPO2 & Temperature were just nocturnal sensors...

Very very essential. This is very unfortunate not have this facility on a high price tag watch.

I purchased the Charge 4 as a previous cheap fitness tracker had the feature then deleted it. I found it extremely useful and with a history of COPD and heart failure in my family, it's almost a necessity for me. The information for the Charge 4 said it could monitor my SPO2. Now I find it only works half the time and not at all for real-time!. Please add the feature ASAP!!!!

After having a variety of issues with installation of the Sp02 clock face initially and others, my service rep and I discussed the lack of a 24-hour clock option for Sp02, the Sense version. The option to switch from a 12-hour format to a 24-hour format would make this a GREAT clock face.

Hi @Monika75, thanks for explaining why you would like to have the option to see SpO2 at anytime on Fitbit Sense. I've moved it into a similar request. I think that a lot of users would like to have this option on their Fitbit devices. You can learn more about how Fitbit decides what suggestions get released in our FAQs.

Agreed!!!  This has been asked for many times. I would use it fairly regularly but my wife would use it daily sure to certain health concerns. Especially if we're away from the house.  The finger monitor is ready to forget to take with you. Having it available any time, anywhere would be a huge advantage and she would likely demand I buy her a new watch.

I would like to have an app, on the Charge 4 (and possibly other Fitbit devices), that will allow you to take a SpO2 scan on demand and not only track it at night.
These scans could also be tracked in the Fitbit mobile app.

Yes, 100% need this feature!

If you (Fitbit), do end up adding this feature, can you please also add it to the Charge 4 and not just the smart-watches!

Thanks!

After a year, Fitbit still does not let us track SpO2 during the day.
