Create a custom clock face for Charge 6

None of the Charge 6 clock faces are suitable for everyday wear especially in a business atmosphere. The majority of them are nothing more than cartoonish. I would like a normal clockface with date, time, and the option to add one or two additional tracker stats without the need to tap on screens.

I completely agree.  The Charge 6 clock faces are juvenile and non-functional.  How can it be that there are no simple elegant options which display 1 or 2 metrics chosen by the user?

The equivalent of “stats heavy” on charge 4 is what I am after.  I’ve opted not to upgrade unless more professional clock faces are made available.

Charge 6 was a Christmas present. The clock faces are so ridiculously ugly and garish that I'm seriously considering returning it.

the watch faces for the Charge 6 are bad enough that i have to surmise that someone at Fitbit must actually hate their customers. it's been over a year since this post was opened and there seems to be no motivation to offer more reasonable watch faces. all feedback i can find online about the Charge 6 is unanimously poor.

not only that, but the Charge 5 had this exact same issue and feedback, so this has to be intentional!

i've heard people speculate that Google is looking to phase out Fitbit completely in the long term, and i have to wonder if these atrocious Charge 6 clock faces are part of that long-term initiative. i.e. "look at how much better our Pixel Watches are compared to these louzy Fitbit products!"

Hi Fitbit team at Google, thanks in advance for processing the feedback. Overall I like the feel of the device but I kinda want to return it for the reasons below.

1. Ultimately, please open up the Charge 6 similar to the Versa. I liked using the web app to make my own watch faces.
2. If you cannot open it up, please add a few watch faces that are just the basics, with as many stat slots possible you can fit. Thin borders, small text or icons. No text effects. Flat colors. No big text of any one stat.

Every one of the Charge 6's stock face are all not to my liking for one of a combination of reasons. 
* Missing stats I want
* Not enough stat slots
* Wasted real estate
* Unreadable text / one I recall was intentionally hard to read. The numbers were written twice, at an offset.
* Esoteric design, uncommon arrangement of numbers.

It would be really cool to get an update on what the next steps in the plan are. I'm not sure if I want to keep this device. Best,

Please make the faces more customizable and/or allow for 3rd parties. I’m coming from a 3rd gen Apple Watch so this charge 6 is a big upgrade except for the faces along with not having Spotify but that’s another issue.

Hey Fitbit team, we're literally begging for this. The selection of clock faces is really slim. None of them actually meet my needs. I'd love to be able to design my own (this doesn't need to be super user-friendly, just doable) or choose from a gallery of user-submitted options so that I can get the look and feel that I want.

Couldn’t agree more. Right now the Charge 6 “faces” feel less like tools and more like props from a rejected 70s sci-fi pilot — flashy, unreadable, and completely divorced from the fact this thing is supposed to be a fitness tracker.

Here’s the irony: the Charge 6 has fantastic sensors, but the flagship fitness tracker can’t even show fitness data on its main display in a clear, useful way. Having to tap and swipe around just to see your stats defeats the whole point of a wrist device.

Fitbit already has custom face tools for the Versa and Sense lines. Why not let the community design faces for the Charge? Give us a normal clock face — date, time, and a couple of configurable stats — and I guarantee the community will fill in the gaps with designs that are both functional and presentable for everyday wear.

At the end of the day, it doesn’t need to be neon cartoon art or abstract “interpretations of time.” It just needs to do what it says on the tin: track fitness, and show it clearly!

Meanwhile, every comment in this thread agrees, not one is in support of the stock faces. Yes all we get a generic cut and paste response of "if this thread is popular, well let our team know". The same response that gets posted on all the other users suggestions getting ignored.

Not holding my breath for change, will likely just get a refund and go with another brand.
