Dark Theme in Fitbit App for Android and iOS

Hello, It is a sincere request to add the dark theme for the android application as the appearance of the application during night time is very bright and with the dark theme it will be easier to use the application and not cause any harm to one's eyesight

Keep it up everyone. We really do need this theme in the app. My hope is
that FitBit is really seeing these posts and will respond soon with an
update for iOs and Android. iOs first though...LOL!!!

Everything you have should support dark theme.  This is a pretty huge user experience oversight.and such a simple fix.

Long overdue. Sucks waking up in the morning and being blasted in the face with a white background

My screen is black unless I turn my wrist to see what time it is. I think if I want my screen on to view SECONDS on my clock I should without needing to turn my stopwatch on since my clock is at the mode where I can see the hour, minute and seconds with the date. I think if I press the button there should be a setting I am able to change for the “auto turn off” because when I want to check seconds, I am unable to because the screen turns black too quickly. Please include in next update

Based upon the years that this "feature" request has been going on this site I'll assume that this "feature" will only be auto-responded to by the mods without any real forwarded to the app developer.

It looks like Users have been wanting a 'dark mode' for quite some time now.  I use a dark mode every Android app that has the option.  It would be really nice for FitBit to have that option.

Thanks

tap tap tap....hello?....is this thing on?

Anyone listening?

(honestly, how hard can it be to implement a color palate swap for the app?)

Seriously, this needs to happen. Please, anything but blinding white.

This should be a non-issue for even the most basic app developer.

Support Android Q and iOS 13 system-wide dark mode - Current versions of both Android and iOS have system-wide dark mode that sets all current apps to dark mode. Fitbit is not working with this and the Fitbit display is VERY BRIGHT at night when setting alarms at bedtime. All the apps I use like Youtube, Twitter, etc work fine except Fitbit. 😕  Please fix this bug!

Hi,

It would be a great feature if there was a dark mode for the mobile app.

Please please PLEASE:

Offer a dark mode for the Fitbit app. I'm sick of blinding myself first thing in the morning, or at night with the blinding white app screen. Plus it'd be good for phones with OLED screens.

Please make a dark mode for the Fitbit app. For those with sensitive eyes, the bright lights can be a little strenuous to look at.

I think a dark mode or a night mode in the app would be very aesthetically pleasing, not to mention easier on the eyes. Some phones get extremely bright and the screens are hard to read with black text on a white background. A night mode would fix this issue.

Is there an option for “dark mode” on the Fitbit app for your phone? I can’t seem to find one. And if there isn’t, you should definitely make one! Dark mode is much easier on the eyes and it saves battery life!

Both iOS 13 and Android 10 now have System Dark Themes.  The Fitbit App should be updated to have a dark mode/theme so that when the system dark mode is enabled, the Fitbit App switches.  The white Fitbit app is extremely harsh on the eyes at night or in a darker environment.
