Device or casing to use whilst swimming

Hi I do not yet own a Fitbit as I am reluctant to get one due to reading that they cannot be used during swimming, although I have seen that you can add this data to your exercise log I feel that this is a gap in the Fitbit market. If a device could be made or even a case for an existing device then I would purchase without hesitation but as it stands I cannot decide whether to buy or to find another device which has a swimming/fitness function to use during all exercise and daily activities.

There has been great amount of users who wants this feature be incorporated in our Fitbit trackers. This wait finally has come to an end with the released of the new Fitbit Flex 2, which now is swim proof and allows you to track your swimming exercise.
