Disable quick view on ace

You need to put an option of disabling quick view on the ace. For me I’m annoyed that the battery runs low so quickly because of quick view. My child is very active and quick view which is always enabled on this device (ace) is always working in overdrive hence why the battery runs out so quickly and needs constantly charging. I own a Fitbit Alta hr and I disabled this function for the exact reason I am wanting the ace to have a disable function. Others are also annoyed that quick view at night is disturbing their child by waking them when they move while sleeping. You need to find a solution else I am going to have swap to a competitor.

I think this is an absolute must for the FitBit ACE.  You have the ability to monitor sleep on this device but are unable to do so because of the blinding light at night.

You can only disable quick view during the setup process. When my child moves at night the bright light that comes on from the fitbit wakes them up, repeatedly, meaning we've had to resort to taking it off.  Whilst this is a work around, it isn't an ideal solution as we can not use all the features (sleep monitoring) of the fitbit and everyone who has a fitbit loves monitoring their sleep right?

I have a fitbit Alta and can disable and re-enable the quick view using the app on my phone.

ALSO as you can only disable this during the setup process, if you do this and find tapping to view time doesn't always work you will want to re-enable the quick view, but you can't.

Very frustrating from all angles.

Yes, why are there no quick view options in the settings menu? This is essential, as many commenters have brought to your attention already (found it in support forum posted in July last year)! Especially when kid is trying to go to sleep and every time they move it lights up the entire room. Maybe there could be a schedule for this, for example the same as bedtime settings, i e disable quick view during night time. Or, just let us switch manually using the app! Please, add this feature a s a p! My kid really needs her sleep!

It is sad that this feature is default on all adult products but it is not included or available for the more sensitive sleepers like my kids.  Both have worn it to bed, both have come out of their rooms hours after bedtime to complain about the screen waking them up.  For the design, the Fitbit Alta is almost identical and only a software change seems to create the Ace, so why not make the change and finish the product my family bought in June 2018 and still isn't finished!

Just want to echo what everyone else has said, my 7 yr old got his Ace yesterday and he said it kept waking him up. He says he's not wearing to bed anymore which is annoying because I wanted to track his sleep... Please enable this feature asap.

Come on! Add this feature. Kids fitbits should have the doable option. My children are being woken up and now cannot wear them at night.

Hi everyone, and thanks for sharing this suggestion. We’re very happy to let you know that this has been released on our newest Fitbit Ace 3. Kids can now enable the sleep mode to turn off screen wake on their trackers. This won't cause the tracker’s screen to turn on when moving their wrist. You can find more details about this new Fitbit device here.
