Do not remove Challenges & Adventures! A lot us use these features to motivate us and connect. My kids are able to connect and do challenges with their friends too.

Do not remove the challenges, this is the fun part of the Fitbit, I just bought a fitbit charge 4, if the challenges are gone, I will send it straight back, I also recommended this Fitbit to my friends, because it does not matter where you live, you can have fun and challenges. This was a reason in the first place why I loved the Fitbit, guess it is time to find something else. You are going to loose a lot of Customers, because if you remove the Challenges, the fun is gone.  Think about it!!!!!! And not everybody wants an abo with premium, leave everything as it is otherwise GOODBYE

I’ve been using Fitbit since college so it’s been about 7-8 years I’ve used Fitbit for challenges and I’m very upset that they’re even thinking of this. I’ve used it with friends, at school with college mates and from work!  This is very annoying!! This is the most used feature.
come on guys!

Ordered my Fitbit Ultra in 2012 and encouraged family members to do the same. We've all upgraded several times. My sisters, daughter, husband and I have enjoyed the challenges for over ten years now. Please don't get rid of the challenges. We'd all continue to keep our Fitbits, but would never purchase another since our favorite features would be gone.  Many of my Fitbit friends are going to the StrideKick app.

I totally agree. I mean the only thing we got is that it would make it better which we are not dumb. we know that taking what has been working fine away is not going to make things better. Does anyone want to try (Which don't need to try very hard) and guess what will happen to fitbit stocks if they do this?

We have had Fitbit watches over the last decade just to participate in the challenges. Not for how the watch looks or for the quality…. JUST FOR YHE CHALLENGES!!! We have apple devices for everything else but stayed loyal to Fitbit because of the group of people we’ve been doing the weekly challenges with for over a decade. These people have become friends & it would be a shame to lose this friendship & motivational unity we have found together. Over the past decade I have probably purchased 5 watches, same for my husband & sister just as an example. If you eliminate the challenge feature you will lose our loyalty to Fitbit IMMEDIATELY!!!!! And it appears we are in the majority. Please don’t eliminate the challenges!!!!!

One of the main reasons I have Fitbit premium is the challenges.  This feature is what motivates so many of us to get up and move.  Especially if your are competitive.   I may seriously consider dropping my premium feature or even explore other options to use besides Fitbit.  What a shame to cut this feature.  Loyal user for years.

I agree.  It is the adventures and challenges that get people moving.  That is the reason I paid for the premium feature.  So sad they have to mess with something that works for so many of its users.

I am another one of the many people who will be looking at leaving the fitbit community after years of buying multiple fitbit products for myself and family members. Competing in challenges with friends and family is one of the few things that sets the fitbit apart and keeps me here. Without it, I might as well get a better product.

Keep the challenges even if it's at a cost.  Please do the right things Google.  Keep the challenges in place and have everyone wanting challenges in the future, to become a Premium member.  This should help you with the cost of running the data center to keep the cost dowm.  If this is not a solution, then retain the member inform for a short period of time like one calendar year and then delete it from your data base.  Please keep the challenge.  We all want it why???

LOVE Fitbit challenges and the ONLY reason I will continue to be a user. I wear my Apple Watch on one wrist and my Fitbit on my other. No challenges and I will break up my decade long torrid affair with Fitbit!

These challenges and adventures are a main feature of Fitbit. Its what sold me on my first smart watch, and since then im now on my 4th! Its what got my family and friends using fitbit now. Its helped motivate me when it comes to bettering myself. I dont like losing challenges so it makes me work even harder to come out on top! If fitbit does away with these features for good, then I will not purchase another watch and I sure as hell wont purchase a google watch either!

The challenges are a part of the premium membership though so they are paid for

We are always updating the Fitbit app, including streamlining some underutilized areas of the Fitbit app. In addition to app changes, we will be incorporating some Google technology and platforms, which will support faster new feature development and deliver a more consistent experience across our ecosystem.

Tell Google  that  if they go through with the removal of challenges and adventures on the 27th  I  will leave  and  never come back  & will replace my fitbit with a Samsung watch  instead  of a Google watch or new fitbit. Google doesn't seem to care what us users want.  Glad  I canceled my Premium.  So unless they replace challenges with something else wonderful on the 27th  I  am gone for good  .

Thanks, It's too bad Google fitbit doesn't have any sense or they would listen to what us users want.

I think they are intentionally killing the FITBIT
Why else would they do this

with all the user feedback about the importance of the challenges, this is not a practical response. Without the challenges I will have no reason to continue to use my Fitbit and I will be switching to an Apple Watch (definitely not a Google Pixel or another Fitbit product if they even still continue to exist). Tracking and health analytics are available through other products and the Apple Watch has more functionality. Perhaps they will add challenges with the influx of Fitbit users switching over. With the outcry of users, your response underscores how little Fitbit cares about meeting the needs of users.

The problem is it was the only thing keeping most of us with fitbit.  I've been a user since i got my fitbit one years ago.  I've been through a number of fitbit devices.  The only reason I got a fitbit again last time was because of the challenges.  Without them I'll just move to something else. I've already cancelled premium.  Customers would appreciate knowing if there will be something to replace challenges instead of generic responses.  The email from fitbit came across as rude.  "we're taking them away if you don't like it then you can cancel" is the tone of the email.  Every single response on twitter was the same canned response.  Fitbit/google hasn't provided an explanation or what the future plans actually are.  The rollout of the announcement and follow up has been horrible.

If Google fitbit really cared about what the users wanted they would listen and announce what might be coming. They basically said tough luck if you don't like it  leave. So  there's going to be an influx of fitbit users leaving fitbit and switching to another device depending on what kind of phone you have. My phone is Android so I will switch to a competitor because after this you couldn't pay me to buy another fitbit  or a Google watch.,Apparently  Google fitbit  doesn't believe the saying that the customer is always right  or they would listen to us.

Seeing the protest regards deleting challenges indicate that you ARE NOT IMPROVING the app. I’m utterly disgusted by your approach!

Kind regards

They are not just for premium users everyone uses them. A lot of people are now moving to stridekick because they don't want to lose their friends or the challenges. You are losing customers all over the place. Stridekick doesn't need fitbit it works on any device. The people moving over there have no reason to stay with fitbit if they can get better watches for and challenges some place else for the same money and many people prefer garmin as device. Whatever your replacing it with better be good because literally 3000 people at least have moved over or more and I expect more will follow or others will just drop off.
