Don't remove Challenges & Adventures

Do not remove Challenges & Adventures! A lot us use these features to motivate us and connect. My kids are able to connect and do challenges with their friends too.

Agreed! This is not an improvement! The whole reason I buy the Fitbit over Apple Watch is for the open groups and community. Get rid of this and I will no longer purchase Fitbit products.

The app still shows challenges and adventures going away.  If “Not Currently Planned” someone need to update the app.

It's sad that they're going away and no mention what is coming if anything. If they aren't replaced soon it's going to make a lot of fitbit users switch over to another device if they haven't already done so.  Users have a right to know what is planned but  no one is saying anything about it.

The only reason I stuck with Fitbit is for the community. Thanks for making my choice to switch to Apple Watch that much easier.

Or maybe just keep the challenges and stop pushing pixel so hard?

@jamiekaiser

I feel like Google is trying to destroy fitbit and is pushing the pixel watch out front of fitbit devices. I personally won't be purchasing a pixel watch  instead I will switch to a competitor because I don't trust Google after this  and  now I don't have any trust in fitbit either.

True I agree I will avoid Google products in future, ie Gmail. It’s going to be a Apple Watch.

Since Google is determined to remove challenges and adventures they should replace them with something unless they want to lose more people along with money

Fitbit is a great tool to track a variety of statistics. The motivation to challenge myself and improve my overall fitness comes from competing in challenges and adventures. I'm so disappointed thst these challenges and adventure tools will soon be discontinued.

Why remove a perfectly good function and social aspect and one of the entire reasons to own a Fitbit?! How about focusing on fixing the issue of steps disappearing when syncing instead?

Just here to say that the challenges are awesome, and because of them, my kids have fitbits, so we're all now disappointed.

Has anyone found any other  apps that can be used in conjunction with fitbits to do a step challenge?

The Stridekick app has a lot of fitbit people.

When fibit came up with this idea they told their members that they could
delete their accounts if they wanted to. So it looks like they don't give a
dam about their Members anyway

Apparently Stridekick is an app that can be used with fitbit. I haven't
accessed it yet but I'm planning to.

A lot of Fitbit users are using the Stridekick app. It can be used across several different devices; Fitbit, Apple, Garmin (I think) and more. It has challenges and you can make your own as well. I just joined it so I can use it with friends and family that have already left Fitbit or had other devices already, or, like me, will continue to use the Fitbit until it dies then go with a different device that is NOT Fitbit or Google!!

If you know a miminum of German, I like "Schrittmeister" better, it has a much cleaner interface (also works with Fitbit)

I am I stridkick as well...I like the feature fit bit had. I might switch to Samsung. I have used samsung heath before and it's not bad. It just mean I'm gonna need a new smart watche and I got my fotbit less then a year ago.  It sucks.

Sad to have received an "important reminder" today that this feature is being scrapped. I use the Get Fit Bingo option a lot, and it motivates me to move even when I'm playing on my own! Hope there genuinely are new interactive/game features at some point. Think this will be the final nail in the coffin of my Premium membership though, as I was already using the online workouts a lot less post-pandemic.

Same as subject. Removing features that influenced device purchases is plan evil. Remember your moto Google? "Don't be evil." What ever happened to that?

Dear Fitbit, I am very disappointed to see that the Challenges are going away. It is what has kept me with Fitbit. They are how I keep in touch with friends and family....

Since the challenges are really going away, I don't see any reason to purchase a new fitbit when my current one is retired... Just needed to tell you that... My loyalty to Fitbit is based on how I can stay connected daily through the challenges with far flung family and friends!

I choose to stick with fitbit because of the challenges. My wife, my kids, Grandparents, cousins, siblings all do the challenges together....the challenges are the number 1 thing about Fitbit

The latest reminder sent today tells us we can delete our accounts. Gee thanks Fitbit for permission to dump the product.  Why not offer a refund for those of us who do so? We are not getting the same product we purchased.

Please do not remove the Fitbit challenges and trophies.  It's the one thing that keeps my friends and me using Fitbit vs. the other tracker options out there.  It helps us stay connected and motivated to keep active.  Without them, there is nothing to keep us with Fitbit.  I truly wish I would've known this was in the works because I wouldn't  have spent the money to upgrade my Fitbit for Christmas.  I would call this false advertising at this point!  Very disappointing!
