Don't remove Challenges & Adventures

Do not remove Challenges & Adventures! A lot us use these features to motivate us and connect. My kids are able to connect and do challenges with their friends too.

wcrosman : You don't need a new device. Just download the Stridekick App. It is usable with Fitbits, Apple Watches, phones, Garmin etc.
My group of friends have all migrated. So far it is working well, and is more flexible for challenges. Basically you can change you metric and your duration.
Not associated or rewarded for this. Just P***ed with Fitbit. Getting rid of the challenges is the last straw. When my current Fitbit dies I will not be going back to them.

The reason why I have Fitbit is because of challenges with family and friends. I suggest we all switch to Apple Watch!

I will also get rid of Google, entirely!

I can't believe they really removed the challenges. I agree with you all, they made me loyal to fitbit. I'll most likely switch to Samsung to match my phone.

No they don’t care at all.  That’s why when my device dies I won’t be back.   Now if we could just get rid of their search engine.

If a company sells a device promising certain features, then takes away many of those features, can the company be held accountable at all? I don't see how that's ok. Challenges are just the latest thing to get the ax, but Google has been slowly taking features away ever since they bought FitBit, such as the ability to download music onto its smart watches (while still allowing it on the Pixel of course). Shady.

The reason I purchased Fitbit was to do challenges with my friends and family, you guys have taken this feature away. It is very upsetting to me and one reason I am contemplating to give up Fitbit. This needs to be addressed ASAP and you guys need to bring the challenges back. I am on a weight loss journey and this is some thing that has helped me.

Just to echo everything above.  This is a bloody stupid move on the part of Fitbit, the challenges are a big part of so many people's lives.

Where did challenges go??? That is the whole reason I kept my Fitbit along with my Apple Watch! Please bring them back!

Thank you Google, you just ruined a good thing.  What did you gain by taking away the Challenge. You will be losing a lot of customers not gaining new ones.

Just sharing again what someone else above has already shared.   Fitbit honestly doesn't care about their customers and what we want.  Trying to talk to customer service is a joke.  They know nothing and are just reading from a script and can offer no real answers.   It looks as if Stridekick.com COULD be a workaround.   So far, from what I see, it's free.  You can create challenges to compete with your friends and best of all, it's compatible with a variety of fitness trackers, so we still have the freedom to leave Fitbit, go with a different, better, more dependable tracker, whether it be Apple Watch, Garmin, Samsung, or any number of other trackers.  Fitbit doesn't care about us and what we want.  I encourage everyone to give this app a try.   I just downloaded it today and I've sent an invite to my friends, so I'm still waiting for them to join and see how it goes.

We want our challenges back!!  Otherwise Fitbit watches are just like every tracker out there!  If they are not brought back I won’t be buying this watch or any of the googles watches!!

please bring the challenges back!!!

The challenges and Bingo are the ONLY reason why I have not already switched over completely to Apple Watch. I was already PO’d that FitBit dropped the Altimeter with the “upgrade” from Charge 4 to Charge 5 and considered switching then, but only hung on because of the Challenges and Bingo. It’s a done deal, now. I’m otta here…

Did not believe they would actually remove fitbits best feature! But they did….

My premium subscription renews at april 17. I think NOT!

Shame on them.
well, I will do with the basic features from then. Till my device breaks. Then i will switch to another smartwatch. Pitty.

Yup, I've already created our own Workweek Hustle in stridekick and started
getting my friends over. Fitbit's loss is stridekicks gain. I'm sure
they'll have an influx of new members this week.

WHY DID ARE THE CHALLENGES GONE?!?! My Subscription is to be renewed on April 1st, and if there are no longer challenges, it is BYE BYE FitBit! So disappointed, for this help my friends and I to stay active and held accountable. Huge Fail for FitBit

THIS!  Please bring challenges back!  It's a huge part of what has kept me with Fitbit over other trackers.  I have a community here and we encourage each other to keep doing better.  Please consider reinstating them.

Stridekick.com. Thank you. Will try this.

If this is working fine, I will no longer need a Fitbit.

It doesn't seem like it. Why do they even have this feature suggestion forum when they clearly don't listen to their customers? Most of us don't even want new features, we just wanted to keep the ones we had. We voiced that loud and clear but it didn't stop Google from taking those features away from us while offering nothing new. They can't even be bothered to give us insight into what's being planned, only vague promises that they are working hard to "enhance the app". At this point, I don't actually believe they have anything planned for us. If they did, they would have rolled out the new features at the same time they took away the challenges. Instead, they just leave us in the dark with less features to enjoy.

If challenges are gone for good, I see no reason to own a fitbit.  It was the only reason I kept buying their product

This change is absolutely ridiculous. I have been a Fitbit owner for several years. This was the feature that made Fitbit stand out among other fitness trackers, I am no longer going to be a loyal user and promoter of Fitbit!
