Don't remove Challenges & Adventures

Do not remove Challenges & Adventures! A lot us use these features to motivate us and connect. My kids are able to connect and do challenges with their friends too.

We need the challenges back NOW… why have the Fitbit if I can’t challenge my friends.. we had fun doing this… I guess I will look for new device.  Bad choice Fitbit… Bad

Odd thing happened today. I got a notification about pushing ahead over someone else in my Workweek Hustle group. I clicked on the notification and it took me to the challenge page! Guess I shouldn't say anything here in case FitBit doesn't know. LOL!

@Afmom2001 : I noticed the same thing too! However, when I would tap the "back" button the return to the main page, the challenge wouldn't show up from the main page...

@Afmom2001 Same. I started a challenge early Monday morning before they disappeared and I've been getting notifications since then. Goes to show that challenges haven't been completely removed from the app yet as they are still running in the background. I hope that means there is a chance they can/will be reimplemented along with all of our data.

Please bring back workweek and weekender challenges. These help motivate myself and my group.

Yep I can still see the leaderboard if I tap that notification. You can
also start another challenge if you go look at your trophy’s through your
profile, which are blanked out now, but Start Challenge is still there!! ?

I agree. I will be going to a watch that matches my phone.

I had the same thing happen. But then you can’t go back to it after you close it.

I'm disappointed about this. The only reason I have kept a Fitbit is for the challenges. If those will no longer be available, I will delete the App, sell my Fitbit, and use something else.

Are there any suggestions for a smart watch that allows challenges?  I feel as if I'm not accomplishing anything since  challenges ended.

I am still receiving email notifications as if challenges are active though.

I am part of a group of people with multiple sclerosis that use the challenges and bingos to encourage each other to move, an essential part of our health for our progressive chronic neurological disorder.

I also noticed that challenges still seemed to be running in the background although not visible on the dashboard. I suspect that won’t last though.

I have been a loyal Fitbit customer since 2015 and I joined because of challenges. It’s the only reason I have been so loyal. The functionality is pretty basic and you take that away. Shame on you. I even paid for premium just so I could do the bingo challenges. The other 20 people I typically do challenges with are all evaluating other devices and apps.  Please bring challenges back

I agree. please bring the challenges. It's important to our family and friends. It helps to motivate each other, keep up with each either !

We have a great group. We look forward to the progress each week.

One of the reasons I bought my fitbit and encouraged others to do the same.

Not that they’ll look at this but I signed up for this forum just now simply to say that removal of challenges directly resulted in me cancelling my premium subscription as of 5 minutes ago. This was a dumb idea where thousands of users will likely do the same.

Challenges are what motivates me to move and then move some more.  No challenges...will probably return to a regular watch or one compatible with my phone.  Bad move fitbit

Due to the removal of challenges and adventures I will not be purchasing another fitbit in the future. This was a major feature for my original 3 purchases and recommending fitbit to friends and family as I will not be doing so anymore. Very disappointed in Fitbits decision.

I feel the same way. My group of family and friends are looking into purchasing Apple Watches.

I completely agree with everyone. I’m really disappointed by this change and feeling disconnected from my weekly challenge group. The workweek hustle was something we all looked forward to and kept us motivated to keep moving. There was no reason given for taking away the challenges. What happened, Fitbit?

Let’s hope the more people complain they might bring it back

Looks like our whole group is switching to Apple Watch.  We have been doing the weekly challenges for the past 10 plus years together.  Many have kept their Fitbit instead of switching to Apple Watch just because of the weekly challenges.  If you are truly looking to improve the Fitbit experience, and after seeing all of the comments regarding the challenges…..then this should be top priority.
