Enable Celsius units on weather app without having to change distance to kilometers Ionic/Versa

Currently the ionic will only  display Celsius units when the distance unit is in 'kilometres'. It would be great if the ionic weather app displayed Celsius units regardless of the distance unit selected .... E.g, miles .

WiFi finally worked
Fitbit updates Firmware
Now have miles and degrees c

Took about 1.5hrs to complete this bull s€÷t task.

Well it seems that the update is being rolled out to the masses. I had a update come through yesterday to upgrade the OS on my Versa, and as a result I now have weather temp in Celsius and distance in miles.

About time as well.

Not sure of I have the latest software,  had an update BUT can't see if anything's changed. Certainly can't see where to select °C and miles.  Can someone perhaps a moderator advise pls?

Mine worked with update and changed to oC with Miles but doesn’t give a choice to change so there will now be people annoyed who liked oF.
Overall still so disappointed with level of customer service

Go to the weather app settings in the Fitbit app. The OS upgrade allowed me to change the temperature unit from there.

I had an update yesterday, but when I go to the weather app I still only have the option to add cities,  nothing about temp units. Changing to miles in my profile still changes temp to °F. So frustrating!!!

 I had a firmware update and now have a temp unit option on weather! checked to see if it stays when I select miles and the problem seems to have been dolved. Hope everyone gets this soon!

I had a firmware update this morning on my Versa.  When it was complete, my temperature was in Celsius (with option to change) and my distance was still in miles.  The update seems to work well.   I'm in Canada :canada:.

Right now, the units.temperature field is based on a user's distance profile settings within the Fitbit app. However, this is quite confusing to many users, and is impractical for many users in the United Kingdom, who use Imperial Units for Distance, but Metric Units for Temperature. It would make is much easier if Fitbit could add a separate field so as to allow users the select the correct units for distance, and temperature units.
