Favorite section for recently used Clock Faces

It would be helpful when the settings for a clock face will be remembered even after installing a different clock face. That way, you could occasionally swap the clock face and go back and forward without having to customize it every time. These settings shouldn't have to use too much storage and could be stored on the phone of the user, so that they'll get loaded in as defaults whenever a clock face is installed again after some time.

I believe users receive watch face purchase receipts via email every time
they purchase one. If you look in those receipts and refresh your memory
(which is what I seem to have to do most times I want to switch to one of
my other watch faces) as to the name of the watch face you want to switch
back to. Then, in the clock face section at the top-right side I think
there is a search que. Type in the name of your desired watch face and the
search engine usually does a good job of locating it quickly. You can
install it again and do the end trial thing, and then go and do the already
purchased part. That's what I do every time until I hear of something
better.

But that sucks when they could make it so much easier.

Absolutely needed, browsing apps and watch faces current is rather limited and limiting! Even a six most recent faces used would be good.

I agree wholeheartedly. My first issue with the watch faces was that I
couldn’t get back to the original when I tried a new one. Because of that
experience, I’m afraid to even try changing the clock face again.

I would love it if I could favorite watches I would like to test out.  I had to do a lot of searching to find my watch face and I donated to the developer.  I am afraid I will have trouble finding my current watch, if I test out a different one.

You should receive an email receipt for your purchases. The names of the
watch faces are always in there. You can oftentimes click on a link in the
email that will lead you back to the watch face, or worst case is go into
to watch face (store) and just type in that name of the one you wanted
again. It should come right up for re-install.

Yes this could even be app driven. A heart or a way to mark favorites or even a history in the watch face section. I like a more traditional watch face when I am at work, and a more stat driven watch face when exercising. I spend 20 minutes digging through the watch faces looking for my previous ones that I use. Bonus would be to allow the watch to hold 4 face designs that can be switched through without the app.

scobiwan1 I did not buy my watch face.  It's free.  I donated to the developer because I like his work.  The PayPal email doesn't have a link to the watch face.

In an ideal world I should be able to browse though all the clock faces, and mark the ones I would like to try out.  Then I could go to my favorites section to select one of the faces I have already picked out.

I like to change my clock face frequently and think it would be great to have a ‘love list’ for faces so when I want to change it I easily have access to ones I’ve found in the past. Also a ‘purchase history’ for clock faces I paid for and want to go back to!

Hi @Sahara.B , thanks for explaining why you would like to have this option. I've moved it into a similar suggestion which has been updated as "Under Consideration". You can learn more about here. Keep adding your suggestions!

Agree with the above.  Additionally it should keep that the clock face was purchased already as part of those clock face settings.   Whether purchased or free, being able to * star clock faces as favorites to try or that i have purchased and be able to switch between those.

Some clock faces are fun to try for a while, then I go back to some of my most favorite ones that put the key specs I need very visible. And the ones I enjoy the most are ones that let me customize which specs to display and in which order and in which color.  I have really appreciated the Lignite clock faces as most are very customizable so what I see on my fitbit is unique to me.  This saving of these settings in the comment I'm replying to would be helpful so that when I switch between clock faces there's no customization or payment code needed (for the clock faces already purchased) and saved as favorites.  I'm sure there are many other great clock faces too. but currently the process is cumbersome to search and find old clock faces, so I tend to not switch clock faces as much as I might otherwise because of the lack of a favorites.   It's easier for me to switch within Lignite because their emails promoting clock faces include the payment code so I don't have to go back and look it up somewhere.

This clock face is a key experience for FitBit smart watch users. Having this be more easily changed and yet save all settings on prior saved clock faces makes the fitbit more valuable.

I poked around.  If you paid for a watchface you can nudge your memory by going here: https://k-pay.io/lookup

You'll be asked to enter the email you used for the purchase. Then k-pay will send an email with a 6-digit number.  Put that number in and your purchases will be listed and they will even re-send the original email.

Of course, this is a lame-**ahem** solution for a feature that really should be part of the fitbit app.  Hellooooooooooo.  Is anybody at fitbit listening?

There should be a way to filter your search to see only free watch faces. I'm not interested in paying for one and trying to weed through all of them just to find a few free ones in annoying and time consuming. Also, you should be able to favorite some watch faces to be able to switch back and forth easily. I like changing my watch face fairly frequently. All of these options were available in the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active that I tried out. It made the customization experience so much better.

YES! And there should be a way to filter your search to see only free watch faces. This would make the customization experience so much better. And maybe a way to search for exactly what you want on the watch face... like checking boxes for heart rate, calories, etc. There are way too many faces to weed through without filters.

I totally agree with this. Changing watch faces on Versa is soooo slow and time consuming, I too don't want to see the paid faces. Just let me see the free ones and install. Also the ability to favorite faces is most welcome. It will make switching back and forth easy. Now you have to keep on scrolling to find the one that you had used last time.

Just removed my Ionic from Fitbit. I can see that there are no plans to add this feature or add the other needed feature of being supported be United healthcare motion. Will be selling Ionic and getting a smartwatch.

In the past I have been very angry with the moderation in this forum. It's true there is no recourse if you get silenced by a moderator you think is incompetent, but if you follow the links posted in the moderator post https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Suggestions/idb-p/features/status-key/review it says it's under consideration. The ability to track female menstrual cycles got added eventually, so there is no reason to think they won't implement this some day. It looks like one of the top requests.
