Filter apps by device type on Fitbit App Gallery

On the fitbit app store it would be nice to be able to filter compatible apps by device type (in my case a charge 6). This would have saved me a lot of time in realising half the apps are not available for my device

No kidding right?

I just wasted a good amount of time searching for compatible apps and clock face choices only to find that I was unable to find anything compatible.

In the app it clearly has a link to "compatible apps" which when opened takes you right to apps that certainly aren't compatible. Then you start going through them all just to find that nothing else is compatible with the Charge 6.

It appears that the only compatible apps and clock face choices are what is already on the device and that's it.

This doesn't allow for very much customization by the end user.

I doubt that I will bother using this device as compared to the other 6 wearables I own the Charge 6 definitely falls under the category of bottom tier. After this disappointment I really can't see what all the hype is over Fitbit.

yeah seriously. Its a 1 hour change with PR and QA. Honestly could get one of my graduate devs to do it in that time. Doesnt matter what lib you use or how complex the code is, its literally easy. Why do i have to click into every single clock face to find that the watch ive just bought isnt supported by anything and i wish i had bought a different one
