I owned Fitbit Flex, Fitbit Force which was recalled back then and now I’m using my 2nd  Unit or Surge. I have recently placed an order  for Fitbit Ionic and one of the main reason is also because of Fitbit Pay!! Please consider this is an official request. Thanks!!

Samsung Pay has been getting tremendous hype lately and AliPay Express has been made available almost everywhere, if Fitbit is not taking this seriously, I think you will lose all your loyal customers very soon.

I would say that priority should be given to Maybank & CIMB. It's two that most of people use here.

But what took it so long to even get one bank on board? Kinda pointless for getting ionic, only to wait forever for the so called NFC payment.

Please enable this... People probably don't know that they can vote for this here but Malaysia is a pretty large market and NFC payments are becoming more and more popular. Local banks have their own NFC payment apps for phones with NFC and Samsung Pay on my Gear S3 works great everywhere, I'd like this in my FitBit as well so I can leave my wallet when I exercise.

Thanks

Yes please. I was using Samsung pay frequently with my Gear S3 but now have switched to Fitbit Versa and I've really miss being able to pay for things without pulling out my wallet.

It's been more than a year since Fitbit Ionic was launched and promised to have Fitbit Pay available in Malaysia... Why is there no feedback or timeline or roadmap on the availability still?

Really want to get my mum and dad a Fitbit Versa. But the Fitbit pay function it’s useless in malaysia. I hope that Fitbit will consider taking in Public Bank or other big banks in Malaysia .

Fitbit, pls allow malaysia to make payments!!! It is great to have the feature to make contact less payments with your watch (Fitbit Ionic) but if its not allowed around the world then whats the point of having it. Not only Malaysia but worldwide.

Why is it Fitbit pay is not supported in Malaysia, but the Malaysia Fitbit has this feature included in their official website (https://www.fitbit.com/my/fitbit-pay)? I thought it is available only i bought Fitbit. But the truth is, it does not support. Disappointing...

All Malaysian Credit/Debit/Prepaid Cards that is given by Malaysian Banks under the jurisdiction and care of the National Bank of Malaysia needs to be allowed by Fitbit in the Fitbit Pay system.

Any news on when Fitbit Pay is coming to Malaysia, if at all? It's been more than a year since it was brought up in the community forums without any updates on whether or not it's even being worked on.

@nicklee

I am currently using Samsung Gear Sport but I still keep my Fitbit Ionic.

However, I can't use the Fitbit Ionic as same as my Gear Sport since my phone Huawei don't support Fitbit App.

Hi guys!

I am currently using Charge 3 SE, hope the fitbit pay will be implemented very soon.

Let's vote for this!💪

Yes I am voting for fitbit pay. In 2019 careless pay has become a hype in Malaysia, with all sorts of e-wallets to choose from. People are moving away from credit cards now. This will be another level for fitbit enabling this service here at this point of time. People don't want to take out cash, then cards, then mobile phones, lastly watches. That's evolution!

It would be great and useful features if the users; likely us living in Malaysia to use the Fitbit Pay as part of electronic payment via debit or credit card. There are wide range of service providers; VISA or Mastercard.

Perhaps Fitbit Team may consider this suggestion as the number of users in Malaysia are increasing.

Reputable banks may include CIMB Bank, Maybank, Public Bank and etc.
