Fitness Tracking Ring (for Hand)

It would be geat if there were an option for a fitness tracking (steps) ring for the hand.  I enjoy my Fitbit watch, but many times I wish I could just wear one of my many watches instead of a fitness watch.  A ring, however, could fix this because it could track your steps whithout taking the users preference for style away. 

It could contain simi-transparent display to show steps or just be a solid piece of metal (or rubber) that doesn't show steps - I'd be ok with either.  After searching for this online and coming up empty handed, I decided to check the US Patent DB system.  I see that Fitbit has a patent on Fitness Tracking devices and references various mediums for tracking (belts, hats, RINGS, etc), so the patent is already covered.  

Worth the research on market demand.

Definitely need a Fitbit ring!

And please make sure it has the alarm function.  I've been using a Fitbit as an alarm for 10 years and I don't want to change.

I agree. I’ve been looking at the Motiv Ring for quite some time. I ultimately found I was not wearing my Fitbit on my wrist (I don’t even like to wear watches, hence why I refuse to purchase an Apple Watch). I am reluctant to switch platforms, because I have used Fitbits for quite some time. It’s been over 6 months since I stopped tracking and I don’t miss anything on my wrist. If Fitbit releases a ring, I will definitely come back.

I have used a Fitbit for many years now, and love it. You might say I am addicted to it. Unfortunately, my wife hates my Ionic. Says it is ugly.

I would love it if Fitbit would come out with a Ring. It does not need to have all the features. maybe just steps and heart rate. Something that could be worn all day. Then I could use my Ionic for workout and hikes. 

Would be nice is it came in a Black metal or zirconia type material.

Really hope a ring is in the works! I really want to track heart rate, sleep, steps without having to wear a device of my wrist. I don’t want to have to switch brands, but if Fitbit doesn’t start offering soon Im most likely going to have to switch to Motiv.

I would like to see a rubber ring become a new product.  For folks who do not like to wear a watch or who like to lift weight, do cross fit, play sports, etc......this would be a great option and safe for them to use.

I've got a watch. I've got a number of watches. All of them look much nicer than yours. Don't even need a display since everything sync's to the app on my phone. So make a ring, a clip, a coin. Something small to track steps.

Fitbit under Google should urgently create a FitBit Ring which can produce ECG-like result. This could be an optional accessory for those who must have accurate heart rate readings. The Fitbit Ring could connect and optionally override the Sense/Versa heart rate. It could also be a standalone heart rate and step and sleep monitor.

What an amazing idea!  It would rival the really expensive and bulky Oura Ring and if integrates well with the Fitbit technology-app would be unbeatable as an option or standalone device.  I would buy one in a heartbeat--there is nothing like it on the market.

I would love to see a Fitbit Ring, I am not a fan of wrist jewellery or watches and the clip ons are not always accurate. I would love to see a solid fitness tracking ring reasonably priced that performs better than the only current ring or ring accessories there today. Quality would be solid coming from Fitbit and it is a brand I trust. Thank you

My flex 2 has just died. I wear a dress watch so don’t want a fitness watch but want to monitor my fitness. I wish you would re consider catering for people like myself. Im hoping you will be doing a ring like Oura as I prefer Fitbit, I changed back from Apple to Fitbit.

I'm becoming more and more interested in wearables other than watches, particularly rings! I would like to see FitBit offer wearable devices other than watches, as the watches can sometimes be bulky and not the most stylish. Rings are more subtle and allow the customer to wear other watches and still track activity and more accurate with heart rate

I know this may not be the right place to submit this type of suggestion and feedback, but I have been interested and curious in tracking my sleep, but wearing something around wrist while sleeping is not very comfortable or natural. I think the core features of this is a reactive sleep tracking ring, with heart rate and simple top 3 notifications.
