The heart rate during exercise is lagging behind vthe reality extremely. I had a medical checkup with the heart rate going up to 190 and the sense recorded 166. It is often reported that the heart rate measurement is quite good over long times, but not for short times. Intervalls etc. are not accurately measureable.
Sports which have shorter pulse rate increase are not correctly measureable. Even endurance sports are not correctly measureable if you do things like intervall training. Peak heart rate is not correctly measureable, because you would need to stay very long on max heart rate. The sensors can do it, they only need ages for climbing to high pulses.
