For shame. There is still a Flash plugin on the foods/log page. It's ok, this has been "under consideration" for 7 years, I'm sure they're on it. The web dashboard could be such a rich experience, where we get to see our data in more varied and useful ways but it's absolutely wasted on the out of date and shallow 'tiles' we've had for years. Please Fitbit/Google, get this re-designed.
Hi@2020Colorado, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback about the possibility of removing Adobe Flash from the website. I noticed that a similar feature suggestion already exists, so I’ve moved your posthere, this helps to keeps the boards more organized. Make sure to add your vote as well to support this suggestion, this helps the team of developers to keep track of popularity and demand over time.
Thank you again for your participation in the Community.
When looking at https://www.fitbit.com/foods/log , there is a "Food Stats: Calorie intake over the last 30 days" widget on the right side. It requires Adobe Flash to be installed. I suggest removing this or replacing it with a non-Flash equivalent.

Wow! Eight years and fitbit still hasn't addressed Adobe Flash. Par for the course for Google, I guess. Did the same with Nest: once absorbed, just really poor ongoing support for existing products and maintaining apps.
I don't see what the problem is. Can't you just spin up a virtual machine with an old version of Windows and turn off updates and use flash on IE there?
The problem is that Flash is a security nightmare. There are over 400 viruses, Trojan horses and other malware that will infect any computer running flash. That’s why Adobe withdrew it from the market several years ago. --
Security patches are regularly released by developers so suggesting someone uses an out of date OS and an out of date browser to make use of technology which was frequently in the news due to security holes before development was abandoned is just asking for trouble. This is not a good idea.
Fitbit has shown clear disregard for its customers by not removing Flash. IMHO whether or not the functionality it delivered is rewrite in HTML5, another supported technology or is removed from the dashboard altogether is a secondary consideration. Flash should be removed for the protection of customers. This and other examples of poor customer support had already made me decide to move to another brand as soon as my device dies.
in the past days I recognize there are differences in the mobile-app, windows-app, and webbrowser-dashboard. You can do or see a bit here, a bit there, something else there. It looks like there is not for all features continuity through everywhere. Like renaming workouts is only possible in the windows-app.
For some graphs you're forced to use mobile-app or windows-app.
It seems like the web portal has had some updates... but why in the world are users still being told to "install Flash" to see all the content? When the company that wrote the software gave up on it, shouldn't the rest of us do the same?
Hi @SunsetRunner, thanks for taking the time to share this suggestion about getting rid of Flash from the web site. I've moved it into a similar suggestion which has been updated as "Under Consideration". Click on the thumbs-up to show your support. I hope to see you around.
The first post on this subject was over 8 1/2 years ago (February, 2014). It’s clear that Fitbit is not responsive to its user’s needs. I actually gave up on Fitbit 2 years after that request was ignored. I’ve switched entirely to fitness services that ARE responsive.
It looks as if Fitbit has abandoned the web interface. All settings are now available through the app, and fitbit is soon to disable the windows and iOS app, both of which have not been supported for a few years.
Like their latest two products i.e. Sense 2 everything Fitbit is going backward into oblivian! Perhaps they have forgotton their success is their customers (Thats us fitbit ... nah! 👋over here! Hello Hello??) Dammit they must be still on that 8 year lunch break lol.🤣
