Integrate with Apple Watch

The options available for wearing your FitBit with business casual clothing is extremely limited. Please partner with Apple & allow us to use the Apple Watch to track our steps for a premium subscription. I love the APP & currently proudly wear my flex daily, but would really like the option available when the Apple Watch is released.

Any news if they are gonna allow Apple Watch users to integrate. I love Fitbit but I wish I could use the app with my watch.

I'd have to agree that Fitbit is missing an opportunity it's to make

money off of us that we'd be willing to pay to use Apple Watch access the app and all

of

its tracking.

I will go

check out other sites and perhaps move there.

I vote they interface Fitbit app with Apple 🍎

Wow have people really been asking for this for 3 years?

I love my Fitbit and the customer service has been exceptional having replaced my device on 3 separate occasions. Sadly the band has failed, the style is dated, and the blaze did away with gps so sadly waving goodbye to Fitbit until there is some Apple integration. I'll miss the challenges :'(

This features and idea request page is pointless. Fitbit won't integrate with Apple Watch and before too long sadly won't exist. I've enjoyed my fitbits over the years, particularly the app and its community features. Unfortunately the device hasn't kept up with technology advances.

This capability would be quite nice, as I have an Apple Watch for a variety of uses, but have family members and friends with Fitbit devices.

Ok.  I have been a die hard fitbit user since the very first device.  My wife and I have moved from one device to the next as new trackers come out.  Sometimes it's due to a new feature or sometimes we upgrade for a new design.  We use the Aria scale as well.  I believed so much in Fitbit that I purchased stock shares when they first went public as I really wanted to be a part of the great things they were doing.  The challenges between family and friends via the app have been the hardest thing to consider leaving but am getting to the point where I want more then just fitness on my wrist so am now at a loss on do I just abandon Fitbit and move to the Apple Watch or what other options are out there.

I agree with with many of the comments that Fitbit is missing a HUGE opportunity here.  I would be more then willing to sign up for a premium monthly service and even buy a WatchOS app to be able to integrate the Apple Watch into the Fitbit ecosystem. Seems like a no brainer.

Look at Spotify where you can freely download their app and listen to music on your computer.  Then to use it on your phone or other mobile devices you need the premium service.  The premium service comes with a couple of nice extra features but at the end of the day I pay monthly for a service that I can use on any device.  Now besides my iPhone, on my Amazon Echo, Kindle Fire, and even my smart tv I have access to what Spotify offers anywhere, any time, and on pretty much any device.

So now with the Fitbit stock I own pretty much down 10 times what I paid for it and the newest Fitbit devices not offering me what I really want.  I feel like it might be time to move on.  The one thing that could save it for me is Fitbit integration with the Apple Watch.  I would gladly pay a monthly fee, buy the app, or whatever.  Think of it this way.  Instead of me just buying a $150 tracker you could make that and much much more offering a more flexible and open platform and collect monthly/yearly payments from me and many other people willing pay for the service of Fitbit without the device.

Please integrate apple watch to sync with fitbit all my friends and family use apple products but we always do a fitness challenge and the fitbit app is the easiest way being that you can invite people and keep track of everyone

I gave my husband my fitbit charge and he is loving it - I decided on an Apple Watch after much deliberation.  I just felt it had some additional features that the Blaze didn't have.  I've set up the Mobile Tracking with my iphone but it doesn't count steps unless I have the phone on me (kind of defeats the purpose of the watch in the house or out on a long walk).  Would love to be able to integrate with health/pedometer/etc so that I can continue to compete in the challenges, especially with my husband.

And I forgot to mention - I would be willing to pay for a fitbit app on my watch!  I just can't wear 2 devices!!!

I don't use my Fitbit any more but would pay for the app if it worked with my Apple Watch.

I, like many above, made the switch to Apple Watch for a variety of reasons.  However, I REALLY miss the fitbit app!  I would defeinitely pay for a way to integrate it with my watch!  Please bring it on!

So many millions of dollars Fitbit is leaving on the table. Charge us for the app, even make us buy a Fitbit, but please support the Apple Watch.

I'm frustrated.  Started out with Fitbit Alta HR.  Liked it, but tapping mechanism didn't work all that well.  Trying out the Apple Watch - and like it so much more - BUT - I like the Fitbit dashboard better.  Way better.  And, I want to see the steps tracked more like FitBit where I can see and be kept up to the minute on how I am doing throughout the day.  I like the reminders when I'm not where I need to be.  It is more intuitive and captures activity and makes it readily available.  I can't believe no one has married these two and made a product that is the best of both worlds.  Both Apple & Fitbit have opportunities here.  Would prefer everything on the Apple front as it would work with my phone and such.  What gives?

I have a FitBit Charge 2 and I was just given an Apple Watch. The FitBit provides a lot of health and fitness data that the AppleWatch doesn't, and I like the FitBit better for health and fitness tracking. However, the Apple Watch provides a lot of functions and features that the FitBit doesn't, and works seamlessly with my other Apple devices. I don't want to have two wearables on at all times, so I am currently wearing the Apple Watch during the day and the FitBit at night while the Apple Watch charges to track sleep. It would be great to have an FitBit app for Apple Watch that mimics the functions of the FitBit Charge 2 on the watch to help me use both my devices to complement each other. Perhaps the app could be free if you already have a FitBit device, or could be paid otherwise. However, I'd still be willing to pay a reasonable price to make my Apple Watch more like the FitBit. I haven't found any available app that can compare. Please consider this request. Clearly a lot of people agree with it based on the number of votes on the original post. It would be a great way for FitBit to tap into the Apple Watch customer market, and to retain customers like me who got an Apple Watch after having a FitBit.

Please consider using apple health with the fitbit app for all functional tracking especially fitbit challenge tracking.

I am no longer able to participate in challenges since I have gotten an apple watch as a gift.

The purpose of these tracking devices is not to carry your device with you every where you go. Seems unreasonable to have to do so.

My issue boils down to my desire to see my steps progress throughout the day on my Apple Watch face. Apple health does not so this. Pedometer++ does, but seems to be depleting my battery! 😞 Apple needs to buy out Fitbit and merge the two. 😂

I just got my first Fitbit and loving the Fitbit app, but not in love with the Blaze. For the price I feel that it's very limited and starting to think about exchanging it in for an Apple Watch or one of the small Fitbits. If I do switch to the Apple Watch, (and since the Health app is meh) I would love to see the Apple Watch to be compatible with the FitBit app. I know this isn't outside of the realm of possibility since Apple opened the watch to 3-party developers when the new one launched, so hopefully this comes to fruition - or at least Fitbit creates a badass smart watch.

Great little app called HealthFace could help with that.
I have added my step total to the bottom of my activity face & have a separate face just tracking my efforts towards my step goal - displays a ring closing and you can adjust your step goal.
It has fixed that one falling of my watch I found when moving from my Fitbit - after 4 months I would never go back. I still use my Charge 2 to track my sleep while I charge my watch and manually transfer data between fitbit & health/watch via the sync solver apps. It's clumsy but doable although the refusal of fitbit to count the imported steps into challenges & leaderboards is frustrating & disappointing. My friends find it hilarious when in challenges the "Di smashed her goal" announcement pops up only to have my total at the top of the screen reading 47 steps!! And my weekly summary is just as disjointed with my totals showing stella efforts yet landing me soundly in last place on the leaderboard from steps not acknowledged.
This really does need a fix - I still do not believe the move towards integration will impact on Fitbits hardware sales but conversely strengthen their community and reputation as a diverse player in the market.
Mind you I am not holding my breath for a sudden rush of solidarity between the two companies coming to our aid.

Thank you for your comments! I will look into HealthFace. Let’s just keep sending out the vibes…maybe some day Apple & FitBit will marry! 😉 Until then…I’m with my Apple Watch now and trying to figure out solutions that bring the two together. Wish Apple would add “steps” the their activity rings with an ongoing step count and then I’d be happy. I’m not quite sure how “move” correlates...
